Excellent! This is our second time using this company and we were once again very impressed. The work had to be performed quickly to accommodate the sale of our home and they came through! We were scheduled right away, the service from the account rep, Chris was excellent, the workers were professional, the job was completed quickly and very well. Also love the guarantee! We will be sure to call on them again in the future.

Overall the experience was great from estimate to completion. Chris the sales rep. was always available for questions and accommodating with changes. Work was performed on time and quality appears to be excellent. In fact, the crew worked extra long the second day to ensure the roof was complete prior to an expected rain storm. I have a fairly large house and didn't expect them to be able to complete in 2 days but they worked very hard. Crew did a reasonably good job of keeping the yard clean despite the volume of debris. Honestly, with this type of work one has to expect some nails and debris to be left around.

I couldn't ask for a better job from start to finish. Chris Ryba came out on a Saturday and did a comprehensive evaluation and estimate. I had one other company come out, and although their estimate was lower, they were not as thorough as Chris who was on the roof and in the attic. I was confident that this thoroughness would avoid any surprises cost-wise down the road.I had my estimate via the internet in a couple of days and signed the contract. They started the job about 2 weeks later. We all agreed to wait for the weather to hold and Chris advised that he likes to install roofing when the temperature is going to stay above 50 degrees for better shingle adherence. Once they started, I was amazed on how fast the job went. A day for the roof and another day for the gutters. Chris was in routine contact throughout the process and on site most of the time. When he was not on site, he had a senior "foreman" keeping an eye on the work. The crew worked seemingly non-stop and the job site was absolutely spotless when they left. Chris called to see if I was satisfied, and then said he would wait about a week just to make sure nothing was missed before providing the final bill. By the way, Swistun gives you a $500 check to hold during construction and if you are not satisfied, its yours...nice touch! How's that for confidence in their services! Chris did the final inspection mailed the final invoice and made sure I understood that if there are any issues at anytime to just call. About three weeks later I received a thank you letter for the owner, a list of all the product and service guarantees and a satisfaction survey. Their workmanship is excellent and even my contractor neighbor was impressed. Swistun won't be the most inexpensive roofer you will talk with, but their roofing knowledge, constant follow-up before, during & after, along with attention to detail was worth a premium to me. I would recommend Swistun without reservation.

Great! The company called immediately to tell me when the work was going to be done. They called that morning to tell me that the job would be postponed one day because of weather. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. They were pleasant and great to work with. I was also glad they would take time out to do a small job. The replacement corner they did looked much better than the original ever did.

Swistun is, without doubt, one of the most professional and reliable contractors I have ever worked with. They were more communicative and reliable than I expected. They were entirely satisfactory in every respect.

Chris Ryba the representative set up an appointment, arrived on time and explained what he suggested be done and why. since his suggestions were different than what I was expecting. He sent me an estimate by e-mail the next day and after considering it sent in the deposit. I had received another similar estimate from another Angie's List firm but decided to go with Swistun even though they were more expensive because I liked the approach Chris suggested. Before the work started Swistun sent me a check for 5% of the total to keep if the work was not to my satisfaction. The work was scheduled and done on the day planned. The worker was efficient and did a nice job. Chris checked in during the day to be sure the work was being done properly. The week after the work Chris called to see if I was pleased and stopped over to answer a question I had re the work. Though the work was more expensive that I expected I would use them again.

Their representative was very professional and helpful. He came to the house to discuss what was needed and then sent me a proposal. I signed the proposal and they placed the order for the skylight. Once the skylight arrived they scheduled the installation. On the day of installation their crew came and did the work. It was done quickly and they took great care to protect my furnishings. I'm delighted with the new skylight. The work on the gutters looks like it should correct my issue, but the true test will come with the next heavy downpour and next winter when it snows.

They showed onetime and did a great job! The only thing that stood out: his bid was higher then that of other companies, but with his punctuality and on timeliness and my wife wanting it done then and there; it was worth it.

Chris, a very personable and efficient representative, came out within 2 days of my call at the agreed on time. He was very nice, professional and I felt very comfortable with him. He gave me a "ballpark" estimate of $800. I was pleased, since I expected to pay more. Unfortunately, he called back within an hour and said that he was very sorry, but that the materials cost $800 and the total cost would be about twice that. A little disappointed, but his sincerity and my own investigation supported his earlier error. After a contract was signed, we set up a date. Since there was snow on our roof he suggested we wait a few weeks which was fine with me. I gave a check for about half the agreed on price prior to the work. The work was done a few weeks later by a subcontractor who installs solartubes only. Work was completed in 2-3 hours. Cleanup was good, and the workmanship is fine. We are very pleased with the solartube, which has brightened up our dark kitchen.

Chris was our contact. He was very professional. He was our 2nd quote because the first quote we had was so high and they were recommending to replace part of our roof that was only 7 years old with only one layer. Chris came out and said it did not need to be replaced and explained why. But he did recommend the flat roof be replaced, which I knew it would. His price for the flat roof was not the most expensive and not the least expensive either. But he did go over the reason for the price and it made sense. I did get a 3rd quote after Swistun, but we went with Swistun b/c of the way they explained the process.

Great. They do a great job investigating problems to discover their source. They also were great in reusing existing materials that were still in good shape to keep the cost down. They came when they said they would. They did great work, and left everything all cleaned up. They do a great job communicating what is going on throughout the job process, and even come back a week later to make a final inspection and make sure everything is working properly.

I liked the work they've done for me.

Probably the most professional, thorough quote and job I've ever had done. I could have had the job done slightly more cheaply, but I doubt that it would have been of comparable quality. The only other estimate did not detect that flashing had not been installed by builder.

The work went very well. Swistun was very responsive throughout the process (estimation, scheduling, and installation). The workers were very polite and cleaned up all the refuse created. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold for the new siding to be painted before it went up. Swistun refused to paint the panels, presumably because they did not want to deal with matching the existing siding. I found that to be a common restriction among the contractors that I talked to.

One of the things they did was a security deposit they gave to us $400 check made out to us personally and if we weren't 100% satisfied the money was ours. They were excellent with communication and at the end I forgot that I cut out a coupon from Angie's List and the senior discount and we have already paid them I called and they sent a check out immediately for both discounts. There product is excellent compared to other service providers.

Chris Ryba, who worked with me to plan, schedule & execute work; Martin, who answered the office phone; and the men who installed the windows were uniformly polite, accommodating and dependable. I am well pleased with the work. It was a pleasure to work with Swistum.

Casey looked at the job and speculated as to whether the original vendor was still in business. If so, he could replace the glass, and avoid the much more serious and complicated task of replacing the entire unit. Perhaps because we have worked together before, he was willing to try. Several weeks later he called to say he had located the company and would be able to order the glass only. We agreed on a contract price and we left on vacation. When we returned, Casey had left a phone message asking to schedule the work. The day of installation, I was ill, with a high fever and not at all in the mood to endure workman out my window. I need not have worried. I did not hear a sound; the work was simply done, and done right...the first time...as is Swistun's slogan. Casey arrived himself several days later for a final inspection and the job "passed!"

Casey arrived promptly to survey the damage and give us an estimate. H was able to ensure proper water drainage immediately and did that work voluntarily. Once we had a "stop-gap" measure, he could schedule the job on a priority basis. In this instance that was "just fine" with us...others were in worse shape. It was about a month before the work was scheduled and performed, due to work load, and difficulty in matching the exact kind of vinyl siding. Casey chose an unnoticeable place in the back of the house from which to take siding for the front because our pattern is no longer made, replacing the back material with a "close match." Because of his skill, one cannot notice that the gutter and vertical corner support were ever damaged.

Chris Ryba and his crew were excellent throughout the entire project. Chris arrived on time to provide the estimate and gave me the confidence that he was very knowledgeable when it came to repairing both complicated leaks as well as attic ventilation problems. The job went perfectly and exactly on budget. Chris has gone out of his way to make sure that we're happy and provided additional advice and recommendations (free of charge!). We will definitely always call Swistun first for any additional home repairs.

We got a number of quotes for a new roof on our house. Swistun's bid of $7,500 was not the lowest. I chose Swistun because, unlike the company with the lowest bid, I felt that there was one identifiable person at Swistun who I could deal with if there were problems. There were no problems other than very cold temperatures delayed the beginning of the work for a couple of months. Once the work began, it was done quickly and efficiently. We were so satisfied with the work that we asked Swistun to install soffit vents around our house, for which we were charged about $1,000. Again, Swistun did an excellent job and we were very satisfied.

They did a terrific job. An architect reviewed the work for us and was impressed with the workmanship.

They are very professional. We've used them before. They showed up on time, replaced the gutter, cleaned up, showed us the work before they left. The work was inspected by the supervisor Chris. he inspected twice. Once when the work was done and then came back a week later. You couldn't ask for better service. I have recommended them to my neighbors.

The job was done nicely, but there was a couple of little things that, for me, were done incorrectly. So I fixed them myself for convenience sake. I know I am a little picky, but I would still recommend them to others.

Work began promptly, completed quickly and as planned. One misunderstanding between us and them about completion of bathroom skylight while annoying did not ruin the job. They replaced our skylight with one that was 6" larger. I assumed that they would extend the existing opening three inches at each end inside to achieve the same effect as the previous skylight. They were just going to put some molding around the lip of the opening but not close off the attic space. We agreed to take a credit for their carpentry and take care of it ourselves.

Company had to be prodded to do the job within the previously agreed time frame. Initially incorrect materials were delivered to the job site, and would have further delayed completion if I had not examined the materials and notified the company. Work was completed to specification except that earlier leaf-guard screens were left on the site.
