I initially contacted Swistun on May 26th to ask for a proposal for the work. Because I preferred to meet the estimator Chris later in the afternoon, I was not able to schedule him until June 15th. I met with Chris. He's very knowledgeable and made numerous suggestions regarding the work I needed done. In the end I elected not to use Swistun for the work because their prices for both jobs were higher than other quality contractors who submitted bids. Nonetheless, I would not hesitate to ask Swistun to do work for me in the future.

They did an excellent job. We are completely satisfied.

The gentleman that came out was quite professional and candid in terms of the situation. He came out very promptly. In hind sight, the quote was very much in the ball park of what it should have been. I ended up going with someone through my home owner?s association; I didn?t have any problem with them or use any competitor. If I had to work independently of my home owner?s association I would use them based on this experience and I would refer them to a friend or neighbor.

They did a very thorough job and stated we didn't need any work done. They seemed very honest and went above and beyond. They didn't even charge for the estimate.

I never actually used their services before b/c their quote was higher than any of the other bids. Their quote packet was nice and professional though. :-)

Swiston was prompt, courteous, and very sincerely apologetic. Approx 12 hours after notification by email late Sunday night, early Mon morning they came and fixed it.

They arrived on time, and were friendly, polite, and honest. They gave an accurate estimate at a fair price, performed the work on schedule, and honored the Angie's List coupon. They also kept me updated on the progress. They did an EXCELLENT JOB. I only wish I had found them sooner. No one will work on my roof besides Swistun from now on!

Estimator showed up on time. Described in detail the work that would be performed. I received a written quote 2 days later. I was unable to begin work for 5 months, they still honored the quote and performed the work within a week of my sending the deposit. The work was done very professionally.

Very busy so earliest I could schedule an estimate was two weeks out. Called the night before to confirm appt, arrived on time, walked through what I needed done, asked questions etc; and provided a detailed estimate later that day. Even went out of his way to drop off the estimate at another address. Unfortunately the estimate was too pricey and we are going with another contractor.

The job went extremely well. It took them two days, just as promised. Our only complaint was that when they left their gear here overnight, the left a saw in our garage with the blade exposed. We have a young son who could have been cut if I had not covered it up. Also, they left some shards of cut up old gutters lying around the front yard. This occurred since it started to rain hard and they had to stop early. I complained to Chris about this and he was VERY professional. He told me to keep the check they had given me as a deposit at the start of the job. This was equivalent to 5% of the job. I did cash it and felt that he handled the issue well. We are THRILLED with the gutters. Even in a heavy rainfall they carry the water away from the house well and never seem to clog. We would advise anyone to use this company for new gutters on their home. Chris is an outstanding person to work with and the people in their front office are extremely nice and pleasant as well.

A young man came out, examined the existing conditions, came back 2 days later with a quote and a thorough explanation of the work. After examining 3 other proposals I found this to be the best and gave them the job. They weren't the low bid but they had the most comprehensive and coherent bid. I was happy with the installation (very neat) and prompt answers to questions about the job.

Although this was a few years ago, I remember them coming to the house. They were very professional and analyzed the problem. They got up on ladders and moved the gutters so they could drain properly. We have had no problems since that time. I would use them again.

They were responsive. They were extensive. They missed a few things. They replaced some wood on the garage under the eaves, but they left a rotten board next to it.

They wound up being good. It took them a while to locate the leak, and they had to come back a second time to fix it, but it all worked out.

The company is very professional, though it is sometimes slow-moving and a little bureaucratic. (Even small repairs require an appointment for an estimate, which you often have to wait for, then a contract, and finally the repair.) I thought they were slightly expensive, but the work was good and I could always depend on them to do it right. So I chose to pay for the peace of mind that it would be slow but good. They are pleasant to deal with and seem honest; they will not mess you about, though they might make you wait.

Arrived and say down to explain what should be done to the roof- work was finished on time and excellent work.

Encountered a few minor issues over the winter which they promptly responded to and corrected to my full satisfaction. Each issue was unique to the thaw and freeze of the winter. Again everything was responded to quickly and resolved just as quickly. All work was started and completed as scheduled. From the start at the initial estimate to the final completion and all follow-up work, the encounter was most courteous, profession and complete. The suggestions provided were most beneficial and gladly accepted. It was like doing business with a member of the family.

The repair went very well. They called the week before to let us know their plans. They were very careful to explain what they were going to do and why. When they were done, they did a good job cleaning up the work site. The following week they came back out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Casey is very knowledgeable and has good practical sense. He was very involved with his crew and is attentive to detail.

They did amazing job with removing snow from my sunroom roof. They are very responsive, punctual, and courtesy. They came in with two men crew, and worked very hard to remove the snow from the roof above my sunroom. I strongly recommend everything one to use Swistun. I'll definitely use them for a long long time. I plan to have them come out to check the roof of my sunroom, and to fix the leaking problem when it gets warmer out.

They were very reasonable and very prompt in getting solutions to the problem. They did an excellent job as they had previously for us. Chris who does the estimates had always been courteous and pleasant to deal with, both before and later when he came to inspect the job.

We were contacted via e-mail (caseys@swistun.com) by the owner of InvisiGuard, Mr. Kazimierz (Casey) Swistun who resides in Wheeling, Illonois. Numerous e-mails and telehone calls were made between my wife, myself and Casey regarding his product, his contractor in Rhode Island and the many problems we were having with his product, and the lack of response from his contractor/distributor regarding the installation of his product on our home. On Saturday, October 10, 2009 @ approximately 8:00 A.M., Casey Swistun pulled into our driveway after driving 900 miles or more since leaving Ilinois on Friday morning 10/09/09 in the hope of rectifying our many problems we were having with his product. Mr. Swistun after conferring with us, advised what he would be checking on the roof and how he would address certain issues if we agreed to what he was suggesting he would do what ever needed to be done so that the guards would work the way he advertises. Prior to our going outside to view the gutterguards while in our house, Mr. Swistun wrote out a check in our name for $2,000.00, the total amount we paid for the gutterguards to his contractor. Mr. Swistun worked on the gutters of our home doing different testing, measuring, cutting as needed, water tests etc., from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Since this time, we have been without a problem. We did give Mr. Swintun his $2,000.00 check back for what we considered a job well done. The aforementioned narrative speaks volumbs about the character, integrity and honesty of a very decent man who stands not only behind his product, but also behind contractors who misrepresent or install improperly his product and the values of his company. People such as Mr. Swistun are no longer the "Norm" in this Country, they are few and far between....unfortunately. Words cannot express our true appreciation for how Casey responded to our dilema.

This is our second time working with Swistun, and the results have been consistently well above average. Their workmanship is top-notch; they are prompt and courteous; and they are genuinely interested in ensuring their work is done to a level of perfection that most other providers do not observe. Swistun do not over-commit or agree to perform work that is not within their realm of expertise. This helps ensure the highest level of quality and service.

They are outstanding and I would never hesitate to use them. They were the nicest people to deal with and you don?t have to pay them immediately. They wait to see if the work they did was done properly and even when they came to repair the gutters, they did not hassle me to pay money. They wait to see if we have rain or whatever was needed to make sure the gutters were working properly. Their prices were not overly expensive and they showed us what needed to be done and did that.

Mr. Swistun came out and gave us a thorough estimate for the work. His crew removed our old, bent-up metal gutter guards and installed his InvisiGuard product, along with readjusting the gutters for the proper angle to drain properly. His crew was polite and professional. We were looking for something that would keep pine needles out of our gutters and his product filled the bill. We did not have to pay for the work until Mr. Swistun came out to inspect the job. We felt that his way of doing business was very professional. We chose this company based on the reports in Angie's List and are happy that we did. We did not take the time to get other estimates, because it was already late in the season and we wanted the work done before winter. Mr. Swistun also advised us on troubleshooting some leakage we have from our sunroom roof. Great service!
