Chris was very professional from beginning to end, from estimate to follow-up visit to handle an additional sealing upon request. All questions were promptly responded to in email. We requested and were able to get service done within 7 days of signing contract. Excellent service.

We based our decision to go with this company on other reports and all the positive comments were absolutely right. These guys are great to work with. We have had a complete roof tear-off before on a previous house (also from an Angie's List recommended company.) Given our previous experience, we did not expect to be completely satisfied and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience: from our initial meetings with the straight forward and professional Chris Ryba, to the good workmanship and courteous people on the job, to final clean-up (we only found one stray nail.) The company even gave us a deposit check to guarantee their work. Their follow-up was impeccable, and they did not want final payment until we were 100% satisfied with every detail of the work. We never knew it could be like this! They were slightly more expensive, but were willing to come down a bit in price when asked.

Unfortunately Swisthun could not make it out to our house in a timely fashion. By the time they did (two weeks after our last estimate), we had already gone with a different roofer. Although we did not go with them, they seemed professional and showed up when they said they would.

This is a very important review for me. I've been an Angie's List member since it started; my analysis is that most Angie's List companies are in the middle more or less; I use Angie's List to avoid crooks and, occasionally, to find superlative businesses. Swistun is a superlative business. Swistun's was the highest of the six Angie's List bidders. Casey Swistun was the only one to come inside our home, which he did multiple times. He is always punctual and organized. He is extremely intelligent in every way. I read his Angie's List reviews last year when he and his workers had received an "A" in every review and I believe in every subcategory of every review. I thought he must have a superhuman crew. They almost are. The way Casey Swistun does business is the only way to do business if there is a permit or other legal issue or if your roof has any complications or problems. His crew is battle-tested. I would recommend Swistun as the only roofing and gutter company to hire with the following caveat: this highest possible recommendation holds as long as Casey Swistun is still able to go up on roofs. I watched him and his crew. It was amazing. More than that, it was an honor.

Overall, the experience went very well. They let me know that I didn't need a new roof, I just needed to make a few changes and my roof would be fine. I'm satisfied with their services.

Great experience! We used these guys at another house we used to own and were very please with our second experience. They are very professional, prompt, responsive and detail oriented. I would not hesitate to use them again and have referred them to 3 different neighbors that have used them for roofing/gutter jobs and been very pleased too.

This is an excellent company from the start of the project to the end. Questions are answered up front. There are no surprises. The workers came around 8A and finished mid afternoon. They cleaned up the area so well, you'd never know any workers had been there. The project manager came by afterwards to make sure everything was done properly and the area was clean. I highly recommend this company.

Difficult installation, (not a lot of roof space, several angles, etc), but Swinstun did a terrific job. Showed up on time to see the scope of work, promptly provided a quote, came out and installed the day the said they would. They were careful not to step on the plants in our landscaping. The gutter installation was absolutely seamless - blends right in with the house as if it's always been there.

Very pleasant experience from the A to Z. The work performed was of a high quality. Their suggestions - such as adding a new downspout or replacing standard gutters with oversized ones - made sense. They also took into account our requests, such as esthetic preferences for the location of downspouts. All calls were responded promptly. All questions prior and during the work were answered precisely and kindly. The workers did a good job and the supervisor of the project was present during most of the installation. The contact person at the office was extremely friendly and professional.

Although expensive, Swistun is a first-class operation. The work was performed punctually, neatly and efficiently. Dealing with Casey Swistun was a pleasure. We have had absolutely no problems since the time the work was performed.

They were too busy to provide an estimate within a reasonable period of time. Very nice people, but could not schedule price quote till 4 weeks out. We made decision before they came to bid. Their competitiors had estimators visiting us within 10 days.

Well. He did ask for payment up front though

it went very smoothly. the work was done within 2 days and they cleaned up after themselves.

I'm very happy with what they did. The owner came back the following week when the work was done. He saw something wasn't right and he corrected the problem.

They were very informative. They were a bit higher priced than the company we went with. I was very impressed with them.

I used the same company last year to put the roof on the garage. The experience was so good from start to finish I called Swistun this year to complete gutter guard work. Casey also repaired three cracks on roof at no charge which I thought was especially nice of him.

Everything had gone well. The company is very professional and always does an excellent job. I love them and recommend the company to everyone that I know.

This company is awesome. They had previously done an excellent job replacing our roof, so we called them to get an estimate to replace windows in our 1920s home. After talking to Chris Ryba, we decided not to get any other estimates. First, when we called Swistun, we were not really sure what kind of windows to get. We were a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of different windows on the market, with pros and cons seemingly for each. We ultimately adopted Chris's suggestion to get high quality vinyl windows from a company with which he had had good experience. Secondly, since Swistun had done such a good job with our roof, we were confident that it would do a good job installing the windows. Since we live in an older house, we were concerned that it might be a more difficult job than average, and wanted to be sure that the job would be done right. We were not disappointed. Once they got started, two guys worked approximately 3 long days. They did a beautiful job, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and we could not be happier.

Swistun, Inc. impressed me as very knowledgeable in their area of expertise and very honest. They did a great job, and were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Chris Ryba provides first class service and attention to detail; the workmen are punctual, and pay great attention to detail. Detailed written contract and proof of insurance were provide before work began. Final waiver of lien received with invoice. This is the utmost in professionalism. I would recommend Swistun to anyone looking for quality, professional work on their home.
