Chris came out to look at the downspout; he told me Swistun would replace it and they did it promptly. Violet was very helpful over the phone and Chris was very helpful. Their service is excellent.

Great. They were responsive, professional, accommodating, and conscientious. Outstanding service and follow-through.

Dane came to give us an estimate. He discovered a spongy area on our roof that turned out to be dry rot under the shingles caused by excessive insulation underneath. We did not contact Swistun to make the repair. If this hadn't happened, the rating would be lower. It was a surreal experience from the beginning. We needed to replace a very old, leaking skylight. Dean got up on the roof and that's when he discovered the spongy part. He then told us that he could sell us a skylight, but that Velux (the manufacturer) would not honor the warranty because of the way our cathedral ceilings were constructed. Incorrectly, he says, because the soffits and gutters aren't in the right place, or something similar. (Note: He was the third roofer/skylight professional to come to our house, and no one else had notified us about this "problem.") It felt bizarre -- he basically would sell us the skylight and install it, but while telling us the warranty wouldn't hold. He did not have a good answer for our question, "Then why would you sell us a skylight?" When we asked for an estimate to replace the door, we were informed they only install pre-hung doors, and so we would have to go get it from Home Depot and they could install it. He did not have an estimate for that cost. I had specifically asked the phone representative about this when setting up the appointment, and she had not mentioned pre-hung doors. We got the sense he wasn't very interested in doing our job. It felt like a waste of our half hour, but then, he did discover that roof issue. (Which we had fixed by a different company that also installed a Velux skylight and reasssured us the warranty would be honored.)

Best gutter work I have ever gotten.

Swistun replaced the gutters on my house. Chris Raybo was my main point of contact. He was responsive and quite knowledgeable. He followed up on site to answer my questions. This overall job was well executed and the gutters work flawlessly. I am quite pleased with the work.

Everything was very transparent and professional, from getting the estimate to having the work done. They always arrived when they said they would.

The company is very reliable and the work is outstanding. We used the company before also for vinyl siding !

I can't say enough positive things about the experience. To start, Casey, the owner, took the time to make sure he understood the job before undertaking it. He was in our attic several times to inspect the damage and was the only one who actually looked in the attic of our garage to a**** the damage. He also got up on the ladder (40 footer) on several occasions to see what was going on up there and took the time to draw out the issues on paper for me. His diligence showed up on the work proposal which was by far the most detailed one I received. All this work upfront gave me comfort that he understood the job and that it had a bettter chance of going as planned with no expensive surprises or delays. Also, his estimate was tied for the lowest. The job went as planned with only a slight delay due to an impossible to find concrete edge tile. Casey communicated the progress periodically. The guys cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and were friendly to our family and nanny. I believe Casey came by for the final inspection during the rain to see how everything looked because he noticed a couple of spots on the gutter that were leaking. Had someone out the next day to fix the remaining small gutter leaks and followed up to see if I was satisfied. Only then did the final invoice get sent out - Thanks Violet. 1 month and everything is fine. Would definitely be the first call I made if I ever have roof or gutter issues again.

They did fabulous work. Chris was out to give us the quote and stayed on top of the job. Violet was pleasant and professional in the office whenever we called. We have been very satisfied with their work and would use them again.

They expertly solved a very complicated gutter issue on a vintage building.

Two employees, arrived when expected and did a fine job in a short time.

They actually did 2 projects and did both very well. Both projects involved removing the siding, installing flashing, replacing rotten wood, and installing new wood siding. Caulked the areas involved. Within 2-3 days, Chris was out at the house to conduct a final review of the work and talked to me about what was done and what they found and repaired. Were very prompt in initially coming to the house and providing a proposal after explaining what work would be done and why.

He came for an estimate. Was earlier than was scheduled, which was outstanding since I had requested during his phone call the day prior that he come as early as possible. During the walkthrough Chris had insights and suggestions that were excellent and saved me quite a bit of money. Highly recommended

Chris correctly identified why old awning was loose and explained options. The work was completed to my satisfaction. Company did follow-up to make sure I was happy! Violet sent the invoice and the receipt upon payment.

It was done quickly and efficiently and as usual, Chris Ryba was prompt with his reponse to questions and for giving an estimate and professional opinion on what needed to be done. This is the second or third time they have done work for us and after repairing our gutters to alleviate the ice daming on the outside brick, he came back twice because we were still having problems. He also inspected our attic and discovered that we had far less insulation than we needed. Even after we had that done, the heat eminating from a pipe was keeping the attic too warm, so he wrapped insulation around the pipe himself. I think Swiston is a terrific company to work with. n.c.

The estimate was performed by someone very experienced who discussed in clean English the issues. Creatively problem-solved my gaols. Responsive to every call/email. The crew (Mr. Violet) was a meticulous crafstman. Unequivocal "A+".

An excellent experience from start to finish. Chris came out, looked the job over, provided an immediate estimate, and came out to do an inspection after the work was done. The worker cleaned up very well and the work was done beautifully. I've used this company before and have had only great experiences. They're very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Both jobs went smoothly, with crews working diligently, appeared very experienced in roofing and in working as a team. Thorough clean up up after. Crew leader answered questions I asked as progressed. Chris came out several times during work to insure all was being completed as agreed. Final invoice not submitted for 7 days, giving us time to inspect and feel confident that work was done to our satisfaction - which it was. While Swistun was the most expensive of the three quotes, the thoroughness and quality of the work I believe to be very high, and the communication from the office to Chris to us was excellent. I would recommend this company to others.

Staff arrived on time & finished job in one day. Were very neat and cleaned up site when done - did excellent job.

The receptionist on the phone (Violet) was very responsive, Dane was excellent in explaining the work to be performed and followed- through during the project. The end results exceeded our expectations.

Casey was very responsive informative and his crew worked diligently . once project commenced slate supple and weather was the only limitations and job was completed without any unxplained or unexpected delay

It went well from start to finish.I had used this company before at my other house, and was very satisfied. They let you know what to expect, when the work will be done, and things happen exactly as you anticipate. their price is a little high but there are no disappointments.

They did a great job. We don’t remember how much we spent on their services. They weren’t the cheapest but they also weren’t the most expensive. We will use them again in the future for gutter work. They did an awesome job on the gutters and they were also very professional.

As with all of my experiences in using Angie's List contractors, this was an excellent transaction. Swistun staff, Chris and Violet, were very professional, courteous and helpful. Everything from Chris coming out to take a look at our existing gutters, providing me with alternatives, contracting and installation went very smoothly. Installation was performed quickly after contract signing and was done in one day. Other than the obviousness that new gutters were installed, you could not tell a crew was there as there was no mess left behind and the old gutters were taken away. Swistun provides copies of insurance upon request and they did so very promptly by U.S. mail. Swistun also provides a deposit to the consumer - which the consumer can keep if they do not feel the work was done well. How many companies do you know that do that? Needless to say, the work quality was excellent and I happily returned the deposit with my payment of the balance owed.

Swistun was very prompt and on time with all appointment during the process. They were very professional. No big sales pitch. Their bid was among the lower bids that we got, but not the lowest. They completed the work in about a half day and everything was done perfectly and everything was promptly cleaned up after the job was done. We had no complaints. During the whole process, the sales person involved from Swistun kept us informed of what was occurring with our order.
