Swistun workers arrived on time and did a very professional job of replacing our gutters and downspouts. We are very happy with the work and plan to use them again on another part of our house.

They were good, I have used them in the past. They are quick to get back to me and doesn't play around. They are very courteous when they are here. They get the job done without any problems. They do a fantastic work.

Swistun Inc. came out very promptly and did what we needed them to do. They did a proposal, then the weather wasn't good and then they had to come out another time. It wasn't their fault. Their prices are very reasonable. It looks good as new. It was our siding and they had to go in and had to fix that. They found the distributor of the siding that we had on our house and matched it to the best. Dane Baird were very professional. We did an estimate for some additional work that may be the soffit/fascia of our home. I liked the price and what he can do. He went over it thoroughly with us. He wrote up an estimate of that particular job and we're waiting to see about doing something with them at a later date for that. I will do business with him again. He was right on time.

We had a discrepancy with an install from many years ago and also an issue with where the new roof vents were to be placed, however, Casey (the owner) responded immediately when we called and the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. We were very impressed that he took the time to come to the house to discuss our issues and they were resolved in a very satisfactory manner. He was very professional and apologetic. I would not hesitate to use Swistun again. In fact, he is working on a new roof quote at this time. We highly recommend Swistun.

Dane arrived promptly as arranged, made his assessment and walked me through what he observed. He was friendly, well-informed and did not engage in any manner of high pressure sales tactics. A written proposal followed soon after via e-mail that contained no surprises. I was very impressed with the professionalism of this business.

A beautiful job was done in a nice amount of time and he even came back when it was raining to see how things were working. They are working great!

It was excellent. They went above and beyond. They worked even when it was cold and worked way into the evening so they could be at a good finishing point. They kept on going to make sure it was a good job. I think the price was ok, but my insurance paid for it.

This is the third time I have used Swistun. Each time, the work was done properly, honestly and timely.

They came out, provided proposal, I accepted, they sent contract, I signed, they did work, I paid for and everyone was happy. They were very easy to work with and seemed to have the whole thing down to a science.

His estimates were sent promptly and were very professionally presented and detailed as to what work would be done. We would have been very happy to work with him. We ended up choosing a whole house vinyl job with a different contractor based on a slightly lower cost and a different backing material to be used underneath the siding. However, as I said, this company would have been easy to work with and I do recommend them.

They did a great job. They were very straightforward. They automatically hold back 15% depending on satisfaction.

Swistun was one of the companies i had to be proactive with for quote followup. After not hearing from them for a week or so, I decided the onus was on me to call them to find out status. Only then did they inform me they could not do the job. I will say though, Dane was pleasant to deal with. I only wish these companies would be more diligent in contacting me with quote or at least a statement that they are not able to perform the job.

Overall a great experience. Chris the project manager came out to give me a price on what I had asked for as well some additional suggested work. I am often frustrated with contractors who say they will be by at a certain time, and then show up late with no call. Communication was top notch both with emails and phone calls. Chris called and said he was running early for the estimate. He called to find a day that worked for the install - emailed after it was finished to see if everything went well and emailed again after he completed a final inspection. I would highly recommend Swistun.

He was very methodical. He took his tim on the job. He took all kinds of pictures to keep us informed on the project. I wouldnt go to anyone but him. He was great.

it was recommended by a friend who knew the owner. he came and gave me an estimate it was the lowest of two other companies I contacted.

The price was reasonable. They really knew their stuff, knew exactly what the problems were and how to fix it. I was treated very well. They did not make me feel like an idiot for having the gutters in the wrong place.

They came out and stripped the old roof and removed the gutters. Replaced plywood on roof and all roofing and gutter material was replaced. Owner on top of the job, making sure everything done correctly. NO MORE LEAKS!

Chris from Swistun was on time and very professional. In the end decided to clean out gutters to see if would do the trick. Decided would get larger gutters when current gutters are in disrepair. Prices were higher than other quotes for siding repair and would not stain to match current siding.

They were very good. It was a draw between the two that I used. If I needed gutters someplace else I probably would call them. I was very happy with the people. I just went another direction. They were very accurate and they were right in the ballpark. I felt comfortable with them.

From first contact to clean up this was a totally professional team to work with. The first phone contact was prompt , courteous, and knowledgeable. The estimates were detailed and proof on license and liability ins. was e-mailed to me for review. My main contact through out the work was Dane. A total professional: knowledgable, courteous, always kept me informed on the schedule,so my time was not wasted. Both crews were experts at their job. The gutters fit perfectly. With the test of timeand a fall season with a messy Alder tree that is over the garage, the gutter guards are working great. True craftwmanship. The clay tile refurbishment,was also an excellent job. Again, craftmanship with men who had real integrity and pride in their work. It was great that Dane also finished up on details that others might not have been bothered with - like taking care of a donwnspout on the house and replaceing some ceiling tiles in the garage. It would have been a big burden to get another crew out to finish up these smaller things. When the job was done, it was completey done. Repairs for clay tile roofs is a real specialty. From previous experience, very expensive. The high quality of this job was a good value for the price.

Summary of the Problem: Over the past few years, we noticed bubbling plaster on the interior wall areas beneath two windows in our living room. When we first noticed the problem, we hired a contractor who repaired the plaster on the inside and applied caulk all around the windows. This did not solve the problem. Then we hired another contractor who again repaired the plaster and replaced a few rows of siding above the windows. This didn't work either. Gradually the bubbling began to get worse. We consulted Angie's List and found Swistun Inc. Their specialty is fixing complex hard-to-fix leaks. Work Performed: Chris Ryba from Swistun came out to assess the problem. Based on the information we provided in the first phone call, he arrived completely prepared to assess our problem. After his inspection of the site and discussions with us, he recommended that both windows, the siding, trim and tyvek wrap be completely removed and replaced. He felt that this was the only way to fully fix the problem and that you can't know the cause of the water seepage until you open everything up and see what you've got. It is impossible to know if it is a window or siding problem until you pull it apart. All work performed would be 100% guaranteed to fix the problem. The work was performed in a timely manner by a professional crew. The job site was cleaned up everyday, and materials were neatly stored. After the old siding and windows were removed, you could see the water damage under both windows. A third window on this wall showed evidence of water damage as well, so Chris ordered another replacement window for us. This caused a delay of about 3 weeks to finish the job, but everything was sealed and secured while we waited for the additional window. The damage was so extensive that rotted wood had to be removed and replaced, and all 3 window frames had to be completely rebuilt. Our experience with this company is that it is an excellent company. Chris was very knowledgeable and professional, and was involved in every step of the project. He returns calls promptly and will work with you to ensure your satisfaction. He and his crew paid attention to every detail. Chris worked very hard with the siding supplier to color match the cedar siding so that it would be painted before being installed. The crew was polite and professional at all times. They came to work early and left after it was dark. Even Violeta (who answers the office phone) was courteous and extremely helpful. We cannot say enough good things about this company. We would definitely use them again and would enthusiastically recommend them. Because of our experience with Swistun, our expectations for service providers have been raised (to the detriment of all other companies!) Any company we hire in the future will be held up and compared to this one. Only time will tell if the actual problem has been fixed, but we are satisfied that the repairs were made to exacting standards. Swistun guarantees the work for life, and we are confident that if further repairs are need, they will take care of them.

Overall it was a very good experience. They were prompt and courteous. Great company to do business with. They were not flexible with the bargaining aspect. They were 10-15% more than other companies but the work was very solid so I was very happy with the work. They were straight forward when they could do the service. As promised they delivered on time and completed the work. The office folks were great to work with. It was a very positive experience.
