RAINEY'S ON ARTHUR AVENUE

We called Rainey and told them that we needed a shade for our recently remodeled kitchen as well as replacing the old blinds at the front of our house. Mark came out within a week and explained our options, taking measurements and ensuring he understood what we wanted. We went to their showroom about a week later to see samples and Nate showed us various style and color options. We decided on a Duet-type shade for our kitchen, and new wooden blinds for the front of the house that matched our newly-painted trim. We received estimates on cost and installation promptly, and the costs were exactly where we expected them to be. The Duet shade was installed perfectly, and a few weeks later the main blinds came in and were also a perfect fit. The folks at Rainey are attentive, accommodating, friendly, and very customer focused. We may have spent less if we had done a DIY job with Home Depot, but we would not have the quality product and service and custom fit. We highly recommend them!

The owner came out to my home early spring and took about two hours measuring for carpeting. He brought a few samples, but couldn't answer any questions about them. He just said he sells a lot of the particular carpet I was interested in. Yet, he offered no information about it. Then I waited weeks to get an estimate, which Mr Rainey was going to send snail mail, as he doesn't do email as most do these days. Meanwhile I had other dealers come out. I then called his store asking where the estimate was. I left a message with his wife, but never got a return call. I tried one more time the following week - now just interested to get his quote for comparison reasons. I had already decided I wouldn't use a company with such poor customer service. I finally got to speak to Mr Rainey who told me he couldn't get a hold of his employee to get a quote on moving my furniture out of the rooms to be carpeted. What a terrible excuse and what terrible service!!! I wondered how on earth they can stay in business. I finally decided to hire Trevino in Wheeling who provided great service at a reasonable price and included moving my furniture at no extra cost. I was so disappointed in Rainey that I would never recommend them to anyone. Of course I would highly recommend Trevino.

Even-though this was a minor in-store repair of a window shade , Mark, Gini and Jack were very friendly and treated me with the utmost of courtesy. The shade was repaired perfectly. In the future I will use Rainey's for all window treatments, carpets and floor coverings.
