Description of Work: Basement re-do staircase, put vinyl floor tiles in the basement, paint walls of the basement, run outlets in the basement, put a dry wall in the basement to separate the appliances - water heater, furnace, sump-pump, and the living area,replace the sump-pump, put railings on the stair case, remove wall-paper, paint, install light fixtures in the basement and replace the water shut off valve. Bath put new floor, put new vanity, replace the faucets in the bath tub, change the toilet seat, put new vanity lights, paint the bath room, install bath towel bars. We did not like the mirror that came with our bath vanity. Nick created a beautiful one with a mirror and trim which cost 35% less than the vanity mirror. When I asked him whether I had to replace the bath exhaust fan, he said that it was working fine. I really appreciate that. Paint Nick's very knowledgeable about paints and we went with his recommendation of the brand, which we bought from Home Depot. He painted the bed rooms, the bath and the kitchen. These look awesome. Living Room/Bedroom Our house had original doors which didn't go well with the color scheme we painted our house with. He repainted the doors to match it. He replaced a door to the stairs that did not have the correct swing. Fabulous job. The entrance to our house had an old wooden look and feel which didn't match the laminate that was in the kitchen. We had some spare laminate which Nick put in. The house entrance looks warm and welcoming. Backyard/Exterior Replace rotten wooden trims, paint them, caulk openings in the sidings. Fix screen of the patio door. Replace sump-pump drain, extend down-spout. Attic While working on running additional wires in the basement, Nick found that the vents in the attic were old and some were not connected properly and this could have caused mold issues in the future. He replaced them and connected them properly. Thank you for being pro-active! Work Permits The Village needed a permit to get the work done and Nick was very prompt in getting the required permits before the start of the project. The Village also inspected the work (electric and plumbing) after completion and we passed without any problems. Superb!
