The sales rep was very professional and the materials used appear to be of excellent quality. Everything beyond the "basic" is a la carte and they are willing to work with you to create the package that can fit your needs. The visit date listed in my response is estimated only since I do not have the documents any longer.

+ 0 moreThey were quick to come out a give a quote and after receiving quotes from other companies, it was competitive. We decided to go with them since they don't use drywall on the walls, it is a magnesium oxide board that doesn't mold and can dry out if it gets wet. It's very nice and looks just like drywall with no seams! Getting started was the one area that seemed to drag on. We decided to do it in February but they weren't able to start until mid May. Once it was submitted for permit it went pretty smooth. About two weeks to get permitted and the entire install was two weeks. Another week waiting for final inspection and it was done. The best part of the entire experience by far was Alex, the head guy on my project. He's the type of guy that really wants to do a good job, whether it means more work for him or not. He was extremely polite throughout the whole process and left the basment spic and span every day. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Matrix completely finished a basement for us that had nothing done to it prior. They put up walls, enclosed the sump pump into a closet, enclosed the furnace and water heater behind sliding doors and created a storage area with walls and bifold doors. They took out and put in brand new stained oak stairs. They removed and installed two new vinyl windows, did wood baseboards, doors and trim around doors and windows. They stained all wood and painted all walls. They drywalled around exposed ducts and beams. They did all electrical (outlets, recessed lights) and moved a pipe that was in an inconvenient location. They installed a drop celing with accoustical properties.
