Matrix Basement Finishing

After much research and looking around, we found matrix and I thank God we did for reasons of: The Professionalism? The Materials The contractors they used and how they worked with us to make sure everything was perfect! Ben Gibbons was our Superintendent and so glad he was. He was very responsive. Mistakes do happen but between him and contractors were all fixed and superceded our expectations. Thank you Matrix! 10/10

Overall the project was great! We are very happy with the quality of the work and the basement looks great. From design to build to final inspections, the whole process was awesome. We especially enjoyed the ability to pick out all our custom finishes, paint colors, and the custom design process for finishing our space. Also being able to follow along through the mobile app was a great benefit -- left no questions about when/where/who the next phase would be. Awesome experience!

We had an excellent experience with Matrix when remodeling our basement. Ben G. was our project manager and helped make the process run smoothly. Ben, as well as all of Matrix’s contractors, were very professional. I was very impressed how they cleaned up at the end of every day and how easy it was to get a hold of someone (especially Ben) if a concern came up, even on the weekends. Most importantly, the finished product was amazing. I highly recommend using Matrix and their team of professionals to complete your basement. They are honest, professional, and all costs were explained up front before we signed the contract.

Matrix Home Solutions gets a 5 ***** rating from me and my wife. We got a quote from the garage floor department to resurface our garage floor and install their Polyaspartic Floortex Coating on our garage floor. From the time of the sale to the completion of the project they were an extremely great contractor to work with. Everything went smooth. They were able to move all the items in our garage out for us in the beginning of the project and returned all items back in the garage for us. Although we told them we would clean the garage first so we would not have garbage in the garage that they would not have to deal with. I told Mike the sales person that I needed a turnkey project and that is what Matrix Home Solution gave me. The contractor that they assigned to our project was extremely accommodating and and extremely excellent employee. Manuel or (AKA) Manny. Ask for Manny when you call Matrix Home solutions to do your resurfacing of your garage floor to install their Polyaspartic Floortex floor coating. Manny is a perfectionist he works hard and he never rushes the job because he cares about his projects and puts all his pride in his project to make sure his customers are always happy. Matrix Home Solutions also does all kinds of home remodeling projects just looks up their website at Matrix Home Solutions.com. I have never worked with a contractor like MHS that cares about their customers and always wants to please them. I also want to mention that the office person that I worked with was Taylor Beagle and she was very accommodating also and very easy to work with. If you need any home remodeling projects please look them up for your home remodeling projects. They definitely get a BIG 5 STARS from us.

Matrix has been great from the start! They come to your house and go over all of your options and answer all of your questions and even offer suggestions that we didn’t think of. Once they start they keep you up to date with the builder trend app which is great! It shows the schedule/timeline of the project with pictures. Anytime I had any questions they answered in a timely manner. We were a little nervous to have this done during Covid but all of the workers wore masks and we’re very respectful with their distance. When possible they bypassed the front door and went through the emergency window to the basement. We couldn’t be happier with their work. It looks amazing. I would highly recommend them!

Had Matrix over and they used scare tactics/heavy sales pressure and a $3000 rebate that was expiring that night (right...) to get us to sign right then for their ridiculous price of $16000. Told us we have black mold and "it's a good thing you got us in here when you did" I did not agree with this price and before he was out the door, they were willing to do it for $9500 with some BS marketing caveats.... ultimately hired a couple of local, very solid contractors, total cost less than $6000, oh and they found no mold whatsoever once the wall was opened up. BEWARE THIS COMPANY USES SCARE TACTICS!

Basement looks great and Matrix did great quality work.

Very happy with Matrix basements. Great communication throughout the process (GC Ben and Cordinator Jackie). Salesman(Steve) did a great job with intitial design. I would recommend them for any size basement remodel.

I have to admit things started off a bit rocky. Matrix had to reschedule our initial meeting a few times.. and when we finally had our first meeting, their sales tactic felt a bit aggressive. That said, working with Matrix has been insanely easy. Brian D provided us with great solutions to our layout issues, and our Project Manager Daniel was super responsive and knowledgeable. Even with all the projects he was managing, he always made us feel like we were on top of the list. Our team of subcontractors were all experts in their respective trades. Specifically, our carpenters, Oscar and Romero were amazing! Their attention to detail was impeccable. We are just a few days from completion, and I cannot wait to start furnishing our new living space. Thanks Matrix for making our vision come to life! With Matrix, you get what you pay for... quality work and a seamless process!

It was a great experience from the initial meeting with the sales and design team to the project manager Daniel to Ramiro the lead carpenter along with the rest of the team who made our vision come alive. Went very well - they handled all of the work from start to finish including handling contractors. They were very flexible throughout the process in updating plans as issues came up (like when we realized the space at the bottom of the staircase would be too small to move furniture in, they helped rework the space to make it more open and roomy). I think it went very well and the finished product was delivered much earlier than expected and the quality of the work is very high.

Matrix did an amazing job finishing our basement! This was a long time coming and they listened and gave us there input on what we wanted/ needed. The schedule was on point and they did not stray away from it despite COVID. Our main contacts were with our GC Ben and Jay, which were very attentive and communitive. All the crews were all very respectful and did great quality work. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking to finish their basement.
