We hired Lira & Associates to help us conceptualize and draw up plans for a large-scale project in our home in Elmhurst, IL. We needed to fix our awkward closed-off floorplan and add a one-story addition out the back with a dug-out basement underneath. Working with Gary was such a great experience. He's clearly seasoned and talented with a years of projects to draw from. He was always professional, as well as really easygoing and fun to work with. He came back to us with several excellent design options, making recommendations that aligned with our budget and optimized the space for our family. Throughout the process, Gary was very responsive, transparent with all his fees, abided to all timelines, and helped work and make plan adjustments with our contractor and the city when the city had questions during the permit process. We've since recommended Gary to several friends who are in our same situation - those who are also wanting to stay in their home and needing optimize their space with a well-thought out and quality renovation.

The goal when renovating our Cape Cod was to have a floor plan that reflected how we live. Lira & Associates customized our home for us and we are very happy with the results. We hired Lira and Associates to design our new custom home. Gary and his team are extremely knowledgeable in all facets of design and architecture. He patiently walked us through each phase of the design taking into account everything on our wish-list. Lira and Associates provided beautiful architectural plans for our new home. Mr. Lira spent countless hours with us during the design process to be sure that he captured everything we wanted/needed.
