HORAN'S CARPET SERVICE INC

Tim Sr. came out on a Saturday to look at the job. He gave us a quote and we set up a date to do the work. He and Tim Jr. came out and restretched the carpeting, cutting off about 1.5 inches around each room, and removing some tape left on the backing side by the original installers- a definite no-no according to the two Tims. We thought we might need new carpeting, but both Tims said we purchased good quality carpeting; the only problem was the first installation. Tim probably could have talked us into buying new carpet if he had wanted to, but he 'simply' did correctly what, originally, had been done poorly. When the two Tims were all done, we had a shopping bag full of carpet clippings to return to the big box retailer. Tim physically showed me the difference in tightness between the bad stretch and the good stretch and the change was quite obvious. I had never seen how carpet should be installed. Now I know.
