+ -1 moreHorrible experience. We used this company for both HVAC installation and heating boiler system. The heating boiler broke a year into it's life. We called Vladimir to get it fix, he was out several times and each time after he left the boiler broke again! Now we are in the new season, our boiler is not working, and we cannot get a hold of Vladimir via text, email or phone. He is total MIA and does not respond or provide quality work.

+ -1 moreThis guy was a joke. I was told there was a "free" consultation so I called the guy to come out on a Sunday to look at my unit and diagnose the problem. After he spent literally 5 minutes looking at my unit and telling me what was wrong I told him I couldn't afford the service at this time. He then proceeded to tell me it was $120 for coming out. That my "free" consultation was my phone call to him yesterday and that it was double the fee because he came in a Sunday, which he never mentioned on the phone. You can't advertise a free consultation if the consultation is just a phone call of the customer telling you what issue they are having. On the phone he never once said "the problem could be x,y, or z & this is what you could possibly expect to pay for service and I have a SERVICE FEE OF $____ to come out and inspect the unit". If he would have been upfront about that I wouldn't be so angry

+ -1 moreThis is the third time we have used GTC for air conditioner problem at one of our properties. The blower was making a loud rattling noise at our home and so we could not turn on the air conditioner. I called GTC and Vlad came over and diagnosed the problem. He ordered a new blower motor and wheel same day and was back next afternoon and installed the new ones and had our air conditioner running. Definitely would recommend GTC for your HVAC needs.
Description of Work: Replace blower motor and wheel.

Description of Work: I have had a good relationship with my prior furnace and a/c technician. But, after my guy retired a few years back, I started to look for a new technician. I have asked around and checked reviews. Finally, I've decided to give this company a try. I am glad that I did. First, my a/c unit stopped producing cold air. Vlad came out the same day I called him. Vlad tested the unit and explained what the problem was and gave me a few solutions. Since it was in the fall season, I've decided to wait and, maybe, get a second opinion. I've called my retired technician and told him what Vlad said. Everything seemed correct and the price was excellent. So, I've decided not to wait unit the next year and called Vlad back. Quick, professional, quality work! Since my first experience with Vlad, he became my furnace and a/c technician. Also, when I was remodeling my kitchen, I had to get rid of the dividing wall which had air supply to the second floor. Vlad had to reconfigure the air ducks and supply to the second floor. Again, pleasant experience from start to finish. Vlad also does regular annual maintenance of my furnace and a/c unit.

+ -1 moreVlad (owner of GTC) is very good & professional. Used him on 3 separate occasions - (1) replace heater. It went out on Dec 31, 2015 !!! Vlad came out in the evening, to see if it could be repaired on the spot, and then cam back first thing on Jan 2nd ( when the supplier opened so that he could replace the unit). Did everything cleanly! Reasonable price - even considering he came out on holiday. ( I tried to use ABC Heating emergency - quoted me $8000 or 2.3 times more - tried to use my desperate situation) . Anyways, Vlad did it better and reasonably priced! (2) Also used Vlad to replace my 10 year old AC. No problems, as expected. (3) Asked Vlad to come out and help with installing Nest thermostat. It's not difficult to do on your own - but wiring to the old unit looked messed up - and I didn't want to take a chance. Vlad cleaned and rewired it and helped me install the unit.
Description of Work: Replace Heating and A/C on two separate calls about a year apart, and help with rewiring for my Nest unit.
