Fresh Tech Maid

Description of Work: No quality control at all. The sales pitch is that you need on large cleaning 16 hours to get our house up to standard, then your regular cleaning will keep the house up. When I arrived home after the cleaning it was clear that the front hall was not washed. The owner came over and told us we were to picky and there were only a few issues. It would take a few cleanings to get up to standards. The second visit was no better the carpet were not vacuumed . The came and recleaned the house but we had had enough. The are more expensive than others but not much more. They have no quality control. The owner will explain to you in great detail with charts and graphs, why they did a good job. Use at your own risk. I am sure that the the owner will explain in great detail why I am wrong. Just a little advice to the owner, the customer is always right and I voted with my wallet.

Description of Work: I have been using Fresh Tech Maid Services since August 2011 when I took advantage of an Angie's List coupon offer. The Fresh Tech cleaning team came to my condo and thoroughly cleaned all floors, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining area. All vertical blinds, ceiling fan, window screens and window sills were also vacuumed or wiped down. The outside of the kitchen cabinets would have been cleaned too, but I chose not to have that done. Everything was spotless when the two-member team was finished. I was impressed and started using Fresh Tech Maid Services on a bi-weekly basis for my general cleaning needs. This is the first cleaning company I have used that actually asks the customer to put together a priority "to do" list for the cleaning tech which is then actually read and utilized. I am very pleased with the work Michelle, my regular technician, thoroughly completes at every cleaning. Even the office staff is professional and helpful whenever I need to make a scheduling change or have a question.

Description of Work: Deep clean that included dusting fans, cleaning inside microwave, etc. Everything was very clean the only minor complaint I had was that there was residue from cleaning materials left on some surfaces. For example, the bathroom had a white layer of powder still in the tub and the stairs had the same type of residue on the hardwoods. I wasn't sure what it was exactly, it wasn't dust. The women also didn't look like they came from a professional cleaning service the way I would have expected which caught me a little off guard (like in street clothes, tattooed, etc). I don't expect them to look like they are going to a day at the office but maybe like a uniformed t-shirt with the companies name on it or something? Feel like they'd be perceived a bit more trustworthy that way? Or maybe thats just me. Overall, I was satisfied and would probably call them again although their pricing is a bit much and they tend to overestimate how long it takes to clean in my opinion. The customer service is very nice.

Description of Work: I paid $72.00 for 4 hours of cleaning by Fresh Tech Maid Service on an Angies List special. I clean weekly and have a service clean monthly. I've been trying out cleaning services as my regular person has arthritis so was able to compare them easily for the identical work I have done monthly. They cleaned 1,200 sq ft including two bedrooms and one bath. I had them dust all the levelour blinds and vintage woodword inluding baseboards, wash the woodwork and hardwood floors with Murphy Soap. They cleaned the front inside stairway, vacuumed carpets, scrubbed the kitchen floor with the product I asked them to use, changed one set of linens. Pamela was the person who cleaned. She left the heating and AC supplies and returns spotless. She also had a super attitude and in addition to having my list, rechecked as she worked that everything I wanted was done the way I wanted. Their regular price is above my budget so I haven't been able to schedule them monthly, but their work is excellent.

Description of Work: The lady who cleaned my home was very professional and did an excellent job. She was able to get at spots which I normally am not able to reach both high and low. She was friendly and cooperative. She did the normal cleaning, washing floors, dusting, cleaning baths and kitchen, etc.

Description of Work: Cleaning was average. The company has too much paperwork to sign and read. There is a "Wharton's guide to cleaning" that the owner expected us to read through with him. While I understand the need to align customer's expectations, even after 40 minutes of inspection and discussion, there was more paperwork to be signed and mandatory reading that I found excessive.

Description of Work: I contacted this company via their own website. I never got a response from them, not even a phone call. I'm not sure what happened, but assume they don't need my business. I am in Mundelein, so perhaps they don't service this area (though I thought they indicated they did). I would at least expect an email or call telling me something. Hope you have better luck.
