It wasn't great. I looked online and everybody's comments were so positive and I'm thinking, "Oh, I'm a bad person. I must be so picky or something." The air conditioner is around the back and so, I didn't want to stand there staring at him the whole time. He said, "Oh, it's going to be about $95 more to add refrigerants," and that what's in there is the old kind that's now not legal and that they use something else and that you can't mix them. I hadn't really had any problem with my air conditioner. It's cold enough for me. But, he said a certain amount would be included in the price of the whole thing, which wasn't all that much. He said that if that won't be enough, we'll need to add some more in order to fill it up or whatever. He used the hose. When I went back there, after he was gone, and I was going to use my hose for something, he had kind of cracked the trigger thing that dispenses the water in different shapes and forms. He had caused a leak there. I ended up having to buy a new hose. I don't know why I was having this negative experience. I don't think I would have him back. I know I wouldn't. The other thing is, the concrete slab that my air conditioning is on is not level. The one right next to it, is my neighbor's and it's nice and level. I sort of thought he would use some kind of leverage and lift it up and stuff some dirt in there. He didn't do that either. It seemed like that would have been included, to straighten up the pad. He got here on time.

Service technician was excellent and thorough. He explained everything and identified any potential issues. Our A/C uses a different type of refrigerant than was part of the deal because it is no longer being manufactured. Though it cost additional the company credited us for the value of the included refrigerant which I felt was very fair. In addition we required an acid treatment of the radiator fins on our exterior fan. The technician was through and did a fantastic job. The additional costs we had over the $49 inspection deal were warranted and the maintenance executed well. I would gladly use this vendor again and recommend them to friends and family.

I bought an Angie's Big Deal and was contacted that same day and scheduled for that same day. It was 87 degrees in my upstairs bedroom (a converted attic). Constantine arrived, did a little diagnostic at the unit, crawled under my deck and did a little more diagnostic. He went back to the unit and found that it was installed in a funky way with no way for condensation to run into plumbing. Condensation had filled the catch pan under the unit and the auto shutoff had kicked on. Because it's not really the right way to have the unit installed, he suggested I run a line to the plumbing. He did not push when I said no (moving in the next couple years). Using my wet/dry vac, he sucked up the condensation, showed me the trip switch and showed me how I could resolve the problem myself next time. Less than $100 for a same day service call AND repair? Yahoo. Thank you Constantine and E Trade. I'll definitely use you again.

The service person was prompt, very professional, friendly and helpful. This is an old system which was overdue for service due to long-term illness in the family. We would use this company again.

It went well, Filter didn't need to be changed yet but said possibly in 2 to 3 months it would need a new one & if I bought he would stop by & put in for me at no charge, now that's what I call a great service company. I highly recommend this company.

We purchased our home in November of last year and suspected the A/C had never been serviced by the previous owner. We bought a Big Deal for an inspection and cleaning. I schedule the service online, but apparently the software had a glitch that actually meant my appointment was a different day. Though I was annoyed when I found out, I have to say that the responsiveness was amazing and our service happened promptly the next day. The service was fast, thorough, and our old A/C is running like new! We will definitely be using this company for our HVAC services in the future.

Contacted E-Trade through Angie's List email notification. He committed to the service for the next day at 9:30 am. Konstantin was 10 minutes early, performed the evaluation and recommended a reasonable solution to a potential situation. He was able to secure the needed (but non-standard) part from his local supplier. Had it installed, conditioned the coolant and completed the job by 10:45 am. Konstantin's explanations and demonstration provided an added layer of confidence in the work he did. I will call him again for a Fall HVAC tune-up.

It went well. They came out on time. The guy was very proficient. He found the problem very fast. He replace some kind temperature switch and perform cleaning of the burners.The price was very good. As a matter of fact, he was early, which was great. I definitely will use them again.

The Service Technician that company send me was very polite and knowledgeable he find the problem very fast and after cleaning and redoing some electrical connections he install booster capacitor to make each start of the compressor softer. He didn't charge me for repair only for service call and this booster capacitor. I'll recommend them to all my friends.
