My boiler went out on Christmas Eve. Larry, from Douglas Heating, responded quickly and his fees were very reasonable. He didn't try to push and additional repairs that may be needed, but could wait for awhile. He is local. 847-417-1273 Douglas Heating

Description of Work: Replaced a rusted chimney stack, including adding an elbow to the stack in the attic, which Larry pointed out needed to be done to be safe. The original elbow was simply a tape joint joining the two pipes. We had 3 estimates, of which they were the lowest, and none of whom even looked in the attic. Debby in the office is so pleasant to deal with, and husband Larry did the work. He was very nice to deal with, very professional, courteous and personable. Heartily recommend!

Douglas Heating was recommended by a roofer we called to handle the furnace flue and exhaust vents while the roofer corrected the flashing and installed new vents. Larry Crane inspected the attic and provided a proposal for the vent pipe installation and exhaust vent connection. Douglas heating also cleaned the flue pipe, which saved having a chimney sweep out later. They painted the exterior to match the roof (we supplied the paint). Two Douglas workers came out and worked with the roofer to complete their work in conjunction with the roofers. Worked out very well.
Description of Work: Remove old furnace vent at roof and replace with vent pipe, flashing and cap. Connect kitchen exhaust pipe to vent.
