I will not hire. This is the rude reply email from Rich. Rich Wojtkowski Wed, May 4, 4:13 PM (8 days ago) to me Mrs. Young, It's curious, but the last thing I remember saying to you after you told me that you were collecting other quotes for the fence repair, was WHY? Since that time my crews have repaired/restored/righted at least a dozen fences in your area. All of which were estimated at the same time I estimated your fence repair. Your file has been sitting on my desk and because of it's inactivity I have now closed your file. To be perfectly honest, at the present time my time is at a premium. My scheduled workload is 4 weeks out solid. And this assumes weather permitting. I will be more than happy to revisit this opportunity but it won't be til the end of June or July. COI's are renewable certificates and are usually provided to each municipality we work in and are registered with. The municipality requests to be named as the certificate holder. So our COI is on file with the village. Having said that I have no problem showing you our COI but it will be at the time of contract signing. Then you will be able to record the policy number, issuing agency, primary insured and date of issuance(as well as date of expiration). Bonding(and I am assuming performance bond) is something that simply does not apply to private homeowners. You must be an established legal corporate entity to be the bearer of the bond. And let us not forget the fee that you would be charged. For future reference, if you knew exactly what you wanted done on your property and were able to develop even a moderate sense of confidence and trust in the contractor's abilities, there would be no need to burden yourself(or confuse yourself) with multiple estimates, Hopefully, you will now understand my original inquiry of WHY Rich Wojtkowski American Fence Professionals

Shortly after they put it up sometime in august there was a large damage on the gate. I started calling them up and I haven't got any result . Yesterday the rest of the gate was destroyed. I called them up they said they will call back but nobody came. It's very annoying that nothing has been done about the gate. Now it's completely destroyed. And we want some satisfaction and someone to come over to fix it. They always say they call back and they still haven't fixed it. All we want is the gate put up again.

Awesome. Friendly team did a great job in less than a day. 5 new posts installed, and all areas that were in danger of falling apart or down are no longer in that danger. Sturdy and secure now - great work, highly recommend if you have a fence in need of repair.

Crew did a good job of replacing some posts and boards, but were very careless – they left several areas of gravel pebbles embedded in the grass in various places, small clumps of clay and mud and blobs of fresh concrete on the grass. I had to spend the better part of an hour cleaning up the mess they left behind. American Fence refused my request for a discount for my cleanup work. They told me I should have taken pictures (Yeah, right) and implied that I was trying to rip them off (“people try to rip us off all the time”). This was insulting! They have lost any future business from me.

My fence post snapped during the microburst and knocked down two sections of fence. I contacted 3 companies -- this was the only one who responded. The quote was within a few days but had to call a few times to get the work done. Work was done about a month later, but I was satisfied with the work and the price. I would recommend them.

I have received no response from the company. Everytime I call, they say the will call me back after pulling my file. Needless to say they never do. I have resolved the problem by having someone else repair the gate and post at a cost of $500 out of my pocket. BUYER BEWARE
