All Safe Fred's Gas Repair

I have hired them previously a few years ago. I think their prices are very reasonable, the staff is easy to deal with and friendly.

They are so far out. But they were great with telling me how everything was going and how far he was. There were traffic issues because he was so far out. He had to go to get the machine to check the leaks. He kept calling me every so often to tell me how far along he was. They also took me home from where the job was to be done to my house. The next day they took me there and brought me home again.

The technician who came to my house was great (Unfortunately, I don't remember his name) He did a quick, professional job. He explained what he was doing (replacing vs. repairing the valve), and he took extra steps to make sure that the line was properly buried. He checked to make sure that all of our pilot lights were still working. The technician also fixed the ignition on our grill.

Great experience - absolutely NO issues. Will certainly use again. Natural gas grill, that is approximately 23 years old, was cleaned and serviced. Todd spray painted the outside of the grill , which enhances the aesthetics of this aging unit.

I CALLED TO HAVE MY GRILL CLEANED AND TO FIX OR REPLACE A DEFECTIVE BURNER. WE SET A DATE. THEY HIT MY DOOR BELL RIGHT ON TIME, DID THE WORK, GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR THE PART, AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO INSTALL THE NEW BURNER.

Replaced toggle switch and glowing embors in fireplace. He also cleaned out the fireplace which had not been done in 12yrs. Also checked for gas leaks. I was very happy with the service provided and will use this company again.

I was not here for the actual service call, but when I returned our grill looked brand new and the burner was working. The technician ran a little late, but otherwise happy with the service.

The experience with them was excellent! We thought the price was good.

They had to come three times, replace the gas valve three times as well as some other componets. When the fireplace still did not work they took the entire thing apart and found a spider was inside the main valve. Once the spider was out the fireplace worked great. My only issue is that I wish they would have taken the thing apart initally and not had to replace any parts and have three service calls. Overall I am very happy with their work, but I would have preferred they take it apart initally.

It was great. I was a little disappointed that he didn't mention the modification the company had made to the grill. He did an excellent job on the work that work that was done.

Initially Todd came to see if he could fix the problem with our 11-year-old ventless fireplace set. After much effort, he determined he couldn't and suggested I buy a set from a home improvement store and have him install it since I didn't want a really expensive set. I asked if he could actually make the selection and he said he could. I work in my basement and it's very uncomfortable without the fireplace, so I was really anxious to get the problem resolved. He promised to call me as soon as he knew when he could come back, and he called me back the same night to say he'd try for Monday. Sunday he called to say he could come Monday afternoon. He called me again Monday to let me know exactly what time he'd be here. We thought they'd have to go in through the wall next to my fireplace (tearing into drywall) as the previous contractor had done. Todd said he might be able to do it without going into the wall. 3 hours later, my beautiful new fireplace is working and they DIDN'T tear into my wall. Throughout the entire process, Todd and his brother were so polite, careful to remove shoes, clean up, etc. What a pleasure to work with these people-don't hesitate!

They were terrific and I was very pleased with them. They gave a reasonable quote and they did a thorough job. They were easy to work with and they came on time. I would highly recommend them.

I left a message on their answering machine and received a call back in about 40 minutes from Ron Sr. He listened to the problem I was having and helped me figure out that I did indeed have a "vent-less" system. He explained that these type of systems can build-up carbon monoxide, so there is a safety mechanism that will shut the unit off and then it will come on again. That is likely what my unit is doing. He also explained that they could come out and look at it, but that there really wasn't anything they could do to help me except look at it and then charge me money for basically the same advice.

On the morning of our appointment, All Safe was courteous enough to let me know that they were on their way and arrived on time for our appointment. The gentlemen looked at the fireplace and was able to get the pilot light to stay on. They were very helpful in explaining some safety tips and features of using a gas fireplace. All in all I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others.

They were prompt, pleasant and professional. After determining that they could not fix the gas mechanism in the fireplace (2 other companies had tried to do that and it had not lasted), they replaced it. It works perfectly and looks great. I couldn't be happier.

They completely went above and beyond. Not only did they solve my problem, but they did a whole lot more. I didn t compare their price, but I didn t think it was a lot of money. I would hire them again if I had problems with my grill.

Fantastic service! I wasn't able to be there for the service so I made a check out to Allsafe Fred's and left it in the grill. They gave me itemized receipt and took care of the grill. It looks new. Can't wait for spring so I can fire it up. Great experience and I have recommended them to friends already.

It was a great experience. Fred called me back promptly and had a technician come over the next day. The technician, Todd, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and showed up on time. He identified the problem with my fireplace quickly and then fixed the problem within a half hour. He even took the time to add some artificial kindling that makes the fireplace glow brighter, a very nice touch for which he didn't charge anything additional. The bill of $198 was right in line with Fred's quoted service charge, and the process was as painless as possible. I would definitely use Fred again for any of my gas related service issues.

All Safe Fred's Gas Repair gets all top marks from me in all categories. This is a wonderful business. They are good about explaining different options and showing how to work everything. I found them to be very knowledgeable. They came on time and were efficient and neat. I don't remember the cost but I know it was fair.

I spoke with Fred the owner. He was so nice and very helpful. I told him we needed our grill cleaned and have the starter repaired. He was very honest in telling me that he would be more than happy to repair the starter but he felt it would only break again. Based on my description of our grill he gave me an estimate of what the cost would be. His nephew came out to clean the grill and did an excellent job. The price was actually lower than originally quoted because the grill wasn't as big as they thought it would be.

I called Fred to find out about removing our old grill and getting a new one hooked up. Fred explained in detail what would happen, recommended what type of grill to buy and where, and assured me that the whole process would be very easy. He was right. Within a week his guys were at my house getting me ready for summer grilling. They removed our old grill, including the cement post it was standing in, hooked up our new Weber, and even took care of the exposed pipe at the side of our house. They were pleasant, thorough, personable and professional. We had delicious grilled chicken that evening!

The work was done to our satisfaction, however there were some unexplained scheduling problems, that indicated a lack of communication between the company owner (Fred) and his crew. We are pleased with the finished product, but encountered some problems in scheduling and communication. If you hire this company, call to confirm the work date one to two days in advance, otherwise you may fall into the abyss, like we did.

Fred's nephews were prompt, polite and friendly. They did a thorough tune up and check up and cleaned it so thoroughly I hardly recognized it. They were quick and brought all their own equipment and didn't leave one particle of dirt or grease anywhere. They don't use chemicals, just a powerful vacuum sort of thing. They also gave me good advice on parts and education on how to avoid some problems I've been having. Well, worth the price. Good guys and good work!!!

Had called another contractor to address the situation. They recommended extensive rework and new parts. Fred's came in, diagnosed, and fixed the problem for 1/3 the cost without the need for any new parts. They were very friendly and helpful.
