DUKE OF DOORS

Excellent service from start to finish. Duke of Doors was the number one rated service provider on Angies List for my area and there was a great coupon listing as well! Called this morning and arranged for a visit. Team showed up an hour early (with a few calls letting me know they could be here earlier and asking if that would be OK). They got right to work. Assessed the problem and let me know what would be required to fix it. In performing the repair, they took a lot of time to maintain the whole door mechanism and very respectfully pointed out some issues with the original install and sought permission to address these. Work was completed within an hour and I got both my garage doors maintained over the course of the repair. Fantastic service and highly professional. Pleasant and well spoken team with a great deal of personal pride in the services they performed.

Duke is the only guy. He is the one man team. He came on time and put the garage door. The only disappointment is that the door doesn?t go all the way down to the ground to swipe the gate. I can see light through it. So, if the rain is coming from that direction, the rain gets in. I called him and he looked at it. He couldn?t do anything to correct it. It doesn?t close. I have to close the old door and push the new one with my foot when the bad weather comes. He is good on punctuality. His price is fine. I would use him in the future.

Excellent company to deal with, very up front with their pricing, apply any and all discounts without needing to give them coupons.........their doors were much better quality than doors quoted by other companies for the same price or more. Overall I highly recommend Duke of Doors.........A++ in my book!

Asking for a follow up. After six months. Because of a malfunction of the garage door opener. I recieved no responce. I'd love to hear from him again. But I am going to hire another person to fix my problem.

Duke was very helpful in helping us pick out the right door. They did a great job installing the door. The new door is so great. The price was very fair.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from this vendor. The door is of high quality and the installation was completed in a very professional manner. My only complaint is that for both the initial estimate and for the installation they arrived late. While I have a flexible schedule, so this wasn't an issue for me, it could be fore some people. I have received several compliments on the quality of the door many people guess that I paid twice as much as I did, as they paid similar prices for lower quality doors.

Although I'm not one to offer a rave review, I can't recall the last time I had as good an experience with a home improvement company as I had withh Duke (yes, that his actual name) of Doors. His product was equal if not better than the other three vendors who bid on the job, his price was much better and the quality of work and overall professionalism was outstanding. I highly recommend this company for the installation of garage doors.

We liked everything about him. He was a little late for the appointment, but I didn?t care about that. He was totally honest and really knew what he was doing. He answered all my questions. He gave us a good product at a great price. He was very nice. There was one thing that I didn?t like which was the finishing on the siding. He said that we wouldn?t notice that in time and he was absolutely right.

I was THRILLED to get an AMERICAN MADE DOOR. This guy is not willing to compromise his integrity by putting in a price point door that is not going to stand the test of time with inferior metals. I respect that. They were slightly late arriving but came fully prepared. When I asked them about replacing the brick moulding around the door with this new pvc product I had put up for the fascia boards they went out of their way to get it before they came and install it for me. They charged me just the price of the materials plus the labor to install it. No upcharge just what Home Depot charged them. They left my garage clean and the new door looks FANTASTIC. These guys don't cut corners and were very honest about quality and I am VERY satisfied with A MORE slightly EXPENSIVE product cuz' I know I got the truth and better quality and I am SUPPORTING LOCAL and BUYING AMERICAN!!!

We contacted Duke to come and replace the springs on our garage door, since one of them had split right in half. We played phone tag a bit before we actually got a hold of him, but he called us back every time we left him a message, sometimes even at night! He came in right away to fix our springs - the day after we contacted him. We weren't going to be home, but really needed it fixed, so we left him a key to our garage and a check in the garage. They came and fixed the springs, locked up and left us an invoice. If not for the invoice, I wouldn't have even known they came - everything was left exactly as we had it. You couldn't even tell they had been there. Our garage door works like new, and it sooo quiet now. When we are ready to replace our old ugly door in a year or so, we will definitely be contacting Duke of Doors to help us out.

Prompt and personable. Calls were returned immediately. Gave me brochures and sample to submit to the townhouse board. Best price of all garage specialist. No pressure just straight forward information and answered all questions clearly. Another bidder wanted me to move a whole section of items, Duke just worked around it. Also had him put in new electronic eyes for $60.00. He said that was price no charge for his labor.

I called on Wed. morning and at 1:00pm Duke was here doing the work. His communication was excellent. After fixing the doors he gave us advice on maintaining the rollers in the future. Couldn't have asked for faster response time and we felt hi charge for the work was very competetive and reasonable. He gave us a discount also from a coupon. He was very personable and very on task. We will use him for any garage door problems in the future.

I was impressed with him right away. He is a sincere young man who takes his job seriously. I have another job to be done later this year. He will be the man that I hire.

Everything was fine. Mr Winkler installed everything without fuss. He explained the unit's operation thoroughly. He was courteous, professional, and helpful. The price was reasonable. I'm very happy with his work, and the operation of the new opener. I'd call him again, and I recommend him to others.

Our garage door was giving us problems and wouldnt open or close on its own. It needed a heft every time and we couldnt do it. It was the end of winter and snowstorms were making it difficult. We called Duke based on the reviews adn the coupons here. He diagnosed the problem correctly and fixed a time within the next coupla days when he could come check the door opener. It was used badly for about 15 years so he could repair the door but not the opener which was beyond repair. So we asked him to replace it like he suggested. He gave us a price which was very competitive and a discount on it. He came in thenext two days and worked straight 2-3 hours and solved the problem inspite of the snow and the cold bitter winds. He then explained us how to use it and the cautionary warnings too.

Our experience with them has been very good. We liked their punctuality, their price was reasonable and they did quality work. We spent $1200 on the job.

Duke came when he said he would - both for the estimate and to perform the job. He is very nice and knows his job. The new door and opener are wonderful, top quality perfectly installed. I got his name through this list and you should definitely call him for great service.

Duke did a great job. I had spoken with several companies in addition to Duke regarding the work. Duke reviewed my options with me over the phone. He quoted a good price and we scheduled the work. Duke arrived on time and finished the work promptly. He had originally quoted a Liftmaster 1/2 HP opener, but then upgraded the opener to a 3/4 HP at no additional charge. He also provided an additional remote control at no additional charge. Duke provides his own 5 year parts and labor warranty in addition to the lifetime motor and belt warranty that Liftmaster provides. All in all, a great experience and I highly recommend Duke.

Duke did a great job! I was imporessed by his punctuality for both the estimate and installation. He was always accisble over the phone and didn't change his price from what was quoted. My new garage doors are now keeping my garage much warmer in the winter compared to what it used to be like with my old doors.

Duke arrived on time and gave a very fair estimate. As the owner of the company, I was impressed that he still did his own estimates, ordering, and install. The availability of Duke was never an issue, as I called three times to ask questions before the install day. On install day, he showed up on time, neatly worked within the garage space I left for him, cleaned up after himself, and then left at the time he said he would. My garage doors now operate safely and quietly while also looking great with the exisiting siding and trim. Thanks, Duke!
