Ended up not needing any service
Description of Work: Called Command Service Center about an LG Dryer not drying. They gave me an appointment for the same day. In the mean time I called LG Service center to do some troubleshooting before the appointment. LG pointed me to a couple of things I could do on my own which fixed the problem. I called Command Service Center and cancelled the appointment. The phone rep was pleasure to work with and I will keep them in mind if I have another problem

We strongly protest this review, as we have no record of this customer at all. This review states we "never showed up", but we do not have this person as a customer. Additionally, we do not service this location, as we do not do business in the city of Chicago. We also do not typically perform routine service calls on Saturdays. We are greatly offended that a review from a customer we have never had a chance to service would tarnish our reputation. Our reputation proceeds us, and this type of customer service is so far from what we offer our customers, who are loyal and treated like family. We wish to dispute this review, and counter with an offer for this reviewer to contact us personally in order to clear up this confusion. We would demand a retraction or at the very least, an addendum that clears our good name. Our customers come first at Command Service Center, and we would appreciate an opportunity to prove this!

This was my first experience using Command as my "regular" serivce company could not schedule a call until well-into July. Command's technician (Steve) was very courteous and personable. He checked and topped-off freon levels, cleaned and checked everthing. He also warned me about a part that might need replacing down the road, but it was not necessary at this time. Appreciate that! They could have just charged for something that was not really necessary.
Description of Work: Check-up on our central AC unit in Antioch. It was not blowing as cold as I thought it shold be.

As mentioned above, everything was flawless.
Description of Work: Command Service installed an exterior Generac generator (price includes generator and installation). As always with this company (they have serviced our appliances for over 25 years), the installation was flawless. Prior to installation, we reviewed what circuits were to be included on generator panel, the electrician and Command technicians reviewed everything with me prior to and after installation. Work was completed in one day and work area was spotless after they left, and the generator worked beautifully a week later when we had a power outage. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They are honest, reliable and professional in every respect. In addition to heating and cooling, and generators, they also install sump pumps and back-up systems, clean dryer vents, repair washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers -- they are truly "service at your command."

I originally called them to look at my refrigerator and they ended up working with LG to troubleshoot and repair the refrigerator. I was very pleased with their service. They are very prompt, knowledgeable, and polite. They are very reasonably priced for their services. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Installation went smoothly. Airflow is noticeably better. The house cools down faster than it used to with a 12 year old 3 ton compressor. I haven't used the humidifier yet. I haven't calculated energy savings yet from actual bills. Sales rep is very helpful and knowledgeable. Technicians are competent.
Description of Work: First, our forty year old air ducts were cleaned and sealed. It was actually performed by a subcontractor for $2000, which is expensive but I believe the job was done right (don't bother having ducts cleaned with cheap ($300) contractors; it won't help). They spent 8 hours cleaning and sealing the ducts and were able to show improvements in airflow efficiency. Then our a/c compressor 2.5 ton 14SEER, A-coil, and refrigerant line were replaced. A new, larger return duct was also installed (recommended for improved efficiency). In order to accommodate the new A-coil, new sheet metal was installed. Also a high tech Honeywell central command thermostat and hygrostat was installed. Finally, a new steam based humidifier was installed.

I called up Command to do the routine service for our A/C. We have a yearly contract with them to deal with the A/C and our heater. They service two systems for our house. We've used them for over 30 years and been very pleased.
