 + -1 moreThe fill valve on our existing water softener failed and since it was a proprietary product and the softener was 16 yrs old, repair was not economical. Ronald replaced one filter, which helped, but it was only a short term solution. We opted to replace the entire unit. Ronald delivered and installed a new 32,000 grain softener with the Fleck 5600 SXT electronic metered demand initiated control valve and turbulator.

Description of Work: I ordered Aqua Pure through the company that re-did my kitchen - Dowling Designs. Dowling highly recommended them since they delivery quickly and have had no problems with them. I have been using Aqua Pure now for 3+ years and have no complaints. I re-order my filters with them online and they are delivered within a few days. I have not received any damaged filters and they are responsive to any questions that I have. The filter system itself works wonderfully and the water tastes great! I also have the whole-house filter system and have had no problems whatsoever with that. It is very easy to operate as there is a handle to turn the water filter off/on and replacing the filters is a piece of cake too. I have never had to back-order any of my filters either. Company sends tracking info as well so you can track when your filters will arrive.

 + -1 moreAfter placing the initial call, Ron followed up the same day. He was very prompt on our appointment day. Ron explained the process of the types of tests he performs and why. He determined the model that would best fit our needs based upon test results. Very clean worker, would not know he was ever there. Very professional and responsive!
Description of Work: I had a great experience with Ron and would highly recommend him. We couldn't be happier with the water system he recommended based on our well water.

 + -1 moreRonald at AquaPure has taken care of my well water filtration for the past 11 years. He always approaches my concerns in a scientific way. This most recent service date was to restore my peroxide filtration system when I foolishly believed another company that claimed their equipment could take care of my water and it ended up a sulfur-smelling disaster for weeks on end. Ronald was recommended by the actual manufacturer of that equipment. You can be assured that you are in good hands when you call on AquaPure. They really know what they are doing, are fairly priced and will be there when you need them.
Description of Work: Restored my original peroxide system that had been removed when I attempted another system. Came a day after we called and provided upgrades to the system for better filtration and economy. Flushed entire house system to remove heavy sulfur contaminants.

 + -1 moreMike was very professional and competent. Our softener is fairly old and we feared that it needed replacement. Mike determined that it was still functioning within normal parameters and he also tested our water to determine the softener's efficiency. We will definitely call this company when out unit expires.
Description of Work: We had a leak in our softening unit. Mike was the technician and he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem.

 + -1 moreRecently bought a house with well water, and I needed to install a water softener due to hard water plus high iron content. The estimate was free, they tested the water and recommended the particular unit that I would need. They explained how they would replace the old drainage tubing from a previous water conditioning system, and answered all my questions. They did an excellent job installing the unit with new copper plumbing and securing it to wall. They explained how the conditioner and the by-pass works, which type of salts to use and to avoid, and provided instruction on how to flush all the house lines and the hot water heater. Right after the unit was activated, the taste of iron was gone.
Description of Work: Installed a new water conditioner, brine tank, and drainage tubing.

 + -1 moreThe Aqua-Pure staff is punctual, clean and polite. They work efficiently and try to keep costs as low as possible. When the problem is more than routine maintenance Ronald makes a follow-up phone call to make sure everything is working o.k..
Description of Work: Most recently they completed the yearly service of our reverse osmosis system. They have also fixed the system when it wasn't working properly. We have well water that requires significant treatment before it enters our plumbing. The system we have in our house is not the system that Aqua-Pure sells, but Ronald was willing to take extra time to learn about how our system works so he could service it rather than try to get us to switch to his brand.
