We called about this a month or so ago and at that time the guy picked up a signal in our front room. The modem is in our back family room. Most of the time however, it does not reach this far and it was a fluke that it was working the day he came. Figures. He suggested that we get an extender/repeater. I question that will work and am afraid to spend the extra money on that when the internet service itself isn't even that good. Last night the internet quit working in the middle of a streaming movie. How frustrating! It was still not working this morning so my husband called and they said the soonest they could have someone out to fix it was Tuesday. Today is Saturday. We rarely watch TV and streaming movies and browsing the internet is our entertainment. It is going to be a long three days and why should I pay for three days of shotty, at best, internet service? The question above that asks if you would use the provider in the future would be more appropriately answered as only if I have to. Being in a small town, we don't have a lot of options, but I will be looking.
Description of Work: Our internet is lousy. Our wireless internet once reached throughout our entire house. Now, most of the time it is only available in the room with the modem. It is very slow and sometimes non-existent.

I had to call one time because I lost my bill. They said they couldn't send me another one! Really? I bet they could send another one when they don't get my money!

I put $0 as we did not have to pay anything additional for the MULTIPLE service calls that have had to be placed over the last few weeks. However, we are not getting remotely close to what we are paying for in our monthly service charges as far as upload/download speeds go (supposed to get 15mbps and we average less than 2, tonight it was 0.90!!). We cannot watch movies on the cable channels as they "pixelate" out making watching the movie almost impossible. Trying to watch netflicks is almost impossible! I attend school online and have had the internet signal be so poor I was disconnected in the middle of taking exams (which I do not get to retake, I get graded on what I was able to complete only) making my attending school difficult to say the least. We have had service techs out to check lines, check boxes etc and have been told there is not a problem with our system; the techs tell us in fact that our whole neighborhood has been having issues (which must be true since we see on a daily basis the cable truck, sometimes trucks, in our neighborhood). So despite having "perfect" (as said by a tech) cables to our home, brand new cable television boxes and brand new cable internet hub, we have worse than dialup speeds.
Description of Work: Have had MULTIPLE service calls to our home due to poor internet and television connections. All service calls have resulted in being told we have excellent equipment and no equipment issues; rather we are told the problem in the signal at a junction that brings the signal to our neighborhood.

they came to install my services i was told by the install tech that i had to pay a cod to get my services installed and when i called them the customer service tech told me i would only be able to give him cash or it would take 5 days for me to pay it over the phone with a card...as i had already been 2 months with them not able to get the install date and time correct i wasn't about to wait 5 more days to get it ..so i payed him the 168.85 he was doing my install when at 12:30 pm he started loading up without my services working i asked him where he was going when he was driving off he said to do another install it took 2 hours for him to return he finished my install and just walked out the door never said sign this or offered a receipt or even said he was leaving this month i have been on the phone with them for days due to them not adding the money to my account now they want me to pay another 168.85 as for 2 weeks the installation tech hasn't responded to there emails and because he did it this way they will not fix this...have even contacted the president of the company and i have gotten the same thing no receipt no fix...i requested the info on the tech so i could have charges brought up on him with my local pd and they will not give me the info and i cant file charges with out his info so i am not only out 168.85 but to keep my services turned on and them being the only one in this area i have no choice i will have to yet again pay 168.85 plus late charges for the first cod not being payed...
