Description of Work: Nuisance highly overgrown tree branches were reaching into power lines over our garage. They trimmed them back just as I had asked careful not to damage the linden. The men removed all litter that they created, even that which fell into the garage's gutters. Our oak tree in the front yard had numerous dead branches that were too high to trim, but the men worked systematically and removed the branches, again removing the loose timber. The tree looks healthier. |All of the men were polite, business minded and quick to finish the job. |My yard was clean of twigs, branches and loose leaves when they left. |Would I use Smitty's Tree Service again? Yes. This is our second time.

Description of Work: They removed ten(10) dead/dying fifty(50) year old ash trees. Bad weather and Commonwealth Edison power lines extended a two(2) day job into almost three(3) months. They did not communicate with us very well and left logs in our President's parking space for two(2) weeks, in spite of our constant calling.

Description of Work: They were to provide a landscape design and price quote to remove and plant new bushes and flowers for front of home. They were to return within two weeks with design and quote. As of March, 2015, no one has followed thru.

Description of Work: Smittys removed a tree that had grown very close to the house.the work went smoothly without any damage to the house. very satisfied with their work and plan to use them again.

Description of Work: We used Smitty's to remove a branch that was damaged and hanging above our house after a large storm. It wasn't causing us immediate problems (it looked as though it could have held for a while) but since it was storm damage, they were very fast to take care of it. The service seemed a bit expensive, but we decided to use them for their high rating on Angie's list. And it was certainly worth the money as it was not something I could have done on my own. If we need a tree service again, I would certainly give them the first look due to our good experience.

Description of Work: They cut down a few trees for me about fifteen years ago. The price was reasonable, and they did the work efficiently.

Description of Work: The 8 trees in our parkway and yard were hanging too low. We have had previous experience with Smitty's so we called them again for an estimate. They were higher than another service we've also had experience with, but were willing to meet their price. I was totally pleased with Smitty's service, from the time Sandy came out to look the job over, to the moment they pulled away with our branches shredded. They came when they said they would, the forman asked us about the job, and he made sure we were happy with the trim job on all of our trees. They cleared dead branches from the interior of the trees as well as trim off the bottom branches where needed.
