Order was very smooth. We choose material that was on hand to expedite job. Misunderstanding on our part as to the actual install date. It turned out it was to measure for the job. Finished product was perfect. The install team were polite, punctual and cleaned up after the work. I would recommend this company.

I would like to start off by saying I am 40-years-old and have never written a negative review in my life. I'm an honest, educated person and I am hesitant to write this because I believe the owner of this company is an okay guy. He should not, however, tell people things just to appease them. I spent three weeks picking out the perfect two slabs of granite. I went to about ten granite warehouses and found two pieces way above my price range. I decided this was the most important purchase in my home, and the one I was most excited about, so I took the plunge. Brian came out to measure on Thursday and told me it would be installed by the following Friday. The install date was very important to me because by this time I had moved into my new home and was living without a kitchen sink, stove, and dishwasher because all of that had to wait for the granite. I knew it was going to be a long eight days especially because my husband and I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old, which makes not having a functional kitchen even more difficult. The following Wednesday I called Pro Source to confirm my highly-anticipated installation for that Friday and to also confirm that I would be coming out to the warehouse to choose my peninsula piece as he had promised me when I was choosing a fabricator. His secretary informed me that he was out of town on a job and that they should be able to install it by the following Thursday or Friday (now two weeks from the measure date). I am embarrassed to say that I started crying because I cannot tell you how difficult it was living in a home with two toddlers without a functional kitchen, not to mention my one-year-old was having surgery that Tuesday and I was really hoping my family would have some normalcy by then. I wanted to cancel my order and go with someone else at that time but my hands were tied because I had already paid a $2,500 deposit. I scheduled an appointment with Brian for the following Monday to come to his warehouse so I could show him the part I wanted for my peninsula piece (the central focus of my kitchen). My husband took a half-day off of work so I could meet Brian without the children since a granite warehouse is not exactly kid-friendly. So, I drove out there, 35 minutes each way, in the pouring rain to meet with him. When I got there I was expecting my granite to be on a table or something and I would just say, "Right here, this is my favorite part, please use this for my peninsula." (I picked out granite with a LOT of movement and every section is completely different which is why when choosing a fabricator I specified that I'd really like to pick my peninsula piece.) But, instead, he guided me outside- yes, it was still pouring rain- and pointed to my granite, which was standing upright between two other customers' granite so we couldn't even see anything. He explained to me that he had to pick the specific areas himself so the cut lines would match up properly and he sent me on my way. On my drive home in the pouring rain I sat there thinking "Why in the heck did my husband just take a half day off work?" and "Why in the heck did Brian allow me to just drive all the way out there just to tell me I can't pick anything out?" and furthermore, "Why in the heck did he assure me I would be able to go to his warehouse to pick out my peninsula piece in the first place?" I'll tell you why, it was because I was debating between two fabricators and the other guy was going to let me so he told me I could as well just to get the job. By the way, only a small portion of the second slab was being used so he definitely could have worked around my peninsula piece and figured out a way to make it work. The end result....my granite looks pretty good, however, he did not use the part I would have picked out for my peninsula piece, which is the main focus of my kitchen and where I sit every morning for breakfast. Because he saves and uses the left over granite for other jobs, I think he may have saved the nicest parts for someone else. I invested so much time and money to get the perfect granite and was super excited about it and now every morning when I sit down for breakfast I feel irritated. Would it have really been that hard to have the granite out like promised and just let me say, "This is the piece I would love for my peninsula". Would that really have been that difficult? On the positive side, the cut lines in the granite are very well done. I've seen granite before with poor cuts and they did a really good job. Brian was pleasant but just didn't care about how important this was to me. If you have a very uniform pattern in your granite, don't have a central piece to pick out, and aren't in a hurry, then Brian is your guy. If you have any special requests, go somewhere else.
