Our service at Paul's was great! The people, especially Paula, were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The furniture turned our really well, like new. It was completed long before the date we were originally given.

Exceeded My Expectations, sofa looks wonderful

Excellent! The 5 cushions were re-upholstered in just a couple days after being dropped off at the Alsip location. We opted for the firmer foam and really enjoy sitting on our sofa again.

I sent out 3 RFPs via Angie's List e-mail early one Sunday morning. Paula called me within an hour of my posting. I sent her photos of the work I wanted done and she sent me a proposal the next day. I waited a few days for other proposals to return but Paul/Paula's was the best--not only least expensive but also most complete. (Paul is the company name, Paula was my contact.) The proposal included new cushions (sorely needed--pun intended), stuffing and stainguard. I ordered my fabric from Joann's Fabric (40% off) and saved another $600 above the discounts Paula gave me. (I also saved $1500+ by using Joann's estimate of yardage online--other upholsterer's asked for twice as much fabric as I sent to Paul's--and they sent me fabric back!) Paula told me it would take 6 weeks for the 3 loveseats and wing chair--it took 2 weeks. I was thrilled with results and ---I had over 3 yards of fabric returned, so I sent it back to Paul's with the four additional chairs and had them reupholstered as well. I had bought this furniture 30 years ago and loved it the entire time. The upholstery had gone threadbare and the cushions were shot. Paul's essentially rebuilt the loveseats and replaced the cushions, giving me entirely new furniture of a design that I couldn't replace. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody and would use them again--if I'm still around in 30 years. I expect Paul's will be. I figure, including the 50% savings on fabric (because I only had to buy half as much), the project with Paul's cost me 30-50% less than the next nearest estimate. I couldn't be happier. Ok, one criticism. They could have use the little spiral upholstery pins to pin on the armrest covers that they included, to make them look neater. So I bought some at Joann's and did it myself. $6

They did a fantastic job! They transformed my old, broken-down couch into a a modern one, replacing the springs, taking off the dowdy skir,t eliminating the tufting, , and restaining the legs. In addition, they returned my new couch to me much earlier than they had originally promised, which was a bonus!

They were good. We had a snafu but they did make it better. The price seemed high but they said it was pretty labor intensive.

Picked up and delivery was included in the price. We had to stop by their facility to pick out the firmness of foam and it was a good idea that we did - medium was just right and i would have otherwise chosen firm. Ron was good to work with and i have already recommended this shop to others.

I bring my furniture in and they give it back to me looking brand new! The staff is friendly all the way down to the delivery guy. They are simply fantastic! They know exactly what they are doing and are masters of their craft. I am a perfectionist and they never let me down with their service. I would highly recommend!

Very Professional and high quality workmanship

They did a beautiful job! They are extremely nice, professional, knowledgeable, and were very accommodating. The chair was about 60 years old and it is absolutely gorgeous! It is perfect!

They picked up as scheduled kept me abreast of the project and finished ahead of schedule. The work was very good. I asked for some modifications to the sofa and it looks better now than when it was brand new.. All the springs were replaced /fixed and what was a 15+ year old set is brand new . I would definitely do it again and I highly recommended them.

The chair looks wonderful. Paula was very helpful when choosing the beautiful white, herringbone fabric. I am so happy I trusted her professional opinion. It is good to know older quality items will enjoy an extended life time with quality upholstering.

They had the work done just in time for Thanksgiving!!! Fabric and workmanship is top notch. Family and friends were very impressed. Not able to tell it's 25 year old furniture. Very pleased with quality. Delivery crew was excellent. Paula is very good to work with. She was very patient and helped us find the perfect fabric.

Hopefully they will be here by Christmas.

It went very well they did a good job and maybe chair beautiful better than it look before. They made changes in it and improve it . I really would recommend this company they really know what they are doing.

Absolutely wonderful. Great attention to detail. Everything looks like it is brand new. I also loved the service. They came to my house to see the furniture and understand what I wanted done. Did not ask me to take a picture and send. Answered my emailed questions on the same day. Picked up and deliver furniture when they said they would. Highly recommend to any customer who is looking for high-touch customer service.

They did a FABULOUS job. Paula was so helpful in picking out the fabric. We took several books home to make the final selection. The chair seats were completed within the time promised. They look and feel terrific. The one chair had cording at the edge of the seat which they redid and it was an outstanding job. Paula also referred up to a woman who made matching drapes and a duvet cover for our bedroom. The labor for the chairs was much less expensive than I had anticipated. I cannot recommend Paul's highly enough. They were wonderful to work with and did an excellent job. Lots of fabric choices too of varying prices. Thanks Paula!!
