The area that you bought the deal for, was a damaged 3x3 area in the family room. From what we saw in the meeting, the floor was connected with the entire house. Since the species of your floor was a Brazilian cherry, an exotic wood floor, which it changes the color when sanded, our estimator propose to your husband to refinish the entire floor. Our concern was that the repair will be too visible in just that specific section(3x3). We provide high quality craftsmanship and we will not do any service that will not look according to our standards. Therefor we recommended your husband to refinish the entire floor in the house. After our meeting we tried contacting you many times, via the phone and Angie's List messenger, to follow up and provide an accurate estimate, but we never got any response from you.
