He kept me advised as to when he could perform the work. He did an excellent job and I told him where he could find the check covering his services. I never saw Mr. Henry in person. It was difficult to get him on the phone but once I did he took care of everything without asking for any money up front. I will definitely use him again and refer him to others.

Eric and a couple of other guys showed up exactly on time and went to work. I didn't need to stick around so I went to work. He called me when he was finished, and it was the exact amount that I was quoted. When I got home I saw the work and it was fantastic. I won't hesitate to use them again in the future!

Home Repairs R Us was NOT for me. When I contacted them in September (prior to the expiration date) they did not return my numerous messages. I even asked them to contact me, rather than submitting this negative review, and I still did not get a response. So, I will transfer my money to a different deal.

I have yet to receive a return call from this provider. If this provider is no longer accepting new clients, their name should be removed from this list. I have message this company 3 times and have called only to get a voice mail.

Very quickly and professional. I could not give a high enough review of the crew. I maybe off on the date the work was done but the quality is seen daily by me daily since.

I have had Eric do 4 or 5 jobs for me in the past, and he is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure his customers are satisfied. In this case, I wanted the fence posts installed with Oz posts instead of concrete, and he was the only contractor willing to do it that way. He is unfailingly polite and professional, and will continue to work with you until you're happy with the job.

Eric and his team did a fast and professional job. They made a tough situation of a flooded basement not so bad. Completely removed all walls from the floor up to 3 ft. Removed everything that was wet, and I had them come back to paint my upstairs bedroom for $300. Their price and quality and friendliness was top notch. I'll be using them again for sure.

Eric from "Home Repair R Us", Inc. came to my home about month ago. I took him around and described the work that needed to be done. Eric agreed to do the work and provided a quote. Eric and his crew was scheduled to come out and do the work as described on Saturday, July 11th 2015. Eric called the day before to confirm the work and time. however, when asked if he could provide some kind of guarantee/warranty in case something happens (such as the mirror falls off the wall or the hand rail falls off because improper installation), Eric was rather stand offish and seemed no longer interested in the job. He was rather rude and simply replied "look I have too many other jobs scheduled for Saturday and I can send my guys somewhere else, do you want us to come out or what?". I was little taken back and hesitant but I replied "yes, I would like to have your guys come out and do the work". After the phone call, I received a text msg from Eric stating that he was going to passthis one up. I tried calling Eric back and got his voice mail but couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full!. My experience with Home Repair R Us, Inc. was very unprofessional. Eric never presented me with a written contract nor did I put any money down. However, I knew what I wanted and Eric was chosen and had agreed to do the work.

Rescheduled numerous times, didn't plan work well.

I have 22 rental units and Eric has proven knowledgeable, punctual, and cost effective. Not to mention an honest guy. He can handle large and small jobs which is great for me since sometimes I rehabbing a whole building and sometimes its just a clogged drain or single door that doesn't close. In addition his wide range of repairs and network of subs allows me to call him with a array of different types of repairs.

Worked very hard. Finished job in a short period of time. Very professionally done.

When scheduling the appointment for the estimate I indicated that I needed to be done by noon that day as I had other appointments scheduled. I received a text message 2 days before the appointment confirming that Eric would arrive by 11:00AM. As I knew that the estimate should only take about 20 minutes, I made plans to be available after 11:30. He called at 11:10 to say he would arrive in 5 or 10 minutes. I told him to not come, since his tardiness didn't allow enough time to run through the work to be done before I had to leave. Basically poor customer service. If you can't show up on time when you're trying to get the job, I don't have much faith in you showing up on time if you got the job.

I worked through Angie's List concierge who found this contractor. I called on a Wednesday, he came by on Saturday to provide an estimate and completed the work the very next day (Sunday)! He stated that he knew the work was minor was in the area and didn't want me to wait. Very considerate. Work performed went quickly and he cleaned up afterwards,

Eric did a great job! We were so happy how quickly he was able to start the job on the wall, and then when the tile unexpectedly came in early, he was very accommodating to get that done soon, too. Our basement looks great and we are so happy to be able to use it again. Eric is very professional, and a pleasure to work with. This is our second time using him (last time we just had a couple of drywall holes to repair) and we will definitely use him again.

I don't appreciate a provider yelling at me when he certainly messed up. Clearly, he was trying to deflect responsibility.

Perfect experience. Polite & professional. Even cleaned up afterwards. Above and beyond service. He was very thorough and made sure there werent any more leaks before he left

Eric and his guys came out on time and did a h*** of a job on my two doors. I had a recent break in and Eric explained to me a few options to decide from. Eric was very knowledgeable about and actually talked me into getting a security gate that I was reluctant at first, but I'm glad I decided to go with the gate; not only does I feel safer but it looks good on my door. When Eric finished he went above and beyond he even patched up a hole I had in the wall and fixed a couple slow faucets in the house. I must say I will be using Home repairs r us in the future for ANY home improvement in the future....Last but not least the quote and price was dead on and very very affordable.....

The first problem started with the walk-through. The contractor did not take notes as one would expect. He later gave me a bid, but did not produce an estimate. He asked if he could do a verbal estimate, so we talked, confirmed what I wanted, and settled on a price. His bid was higher than the other contractors, but I thought he could do the job, so he got the contract. I asked again and again for the written contract before he began, but he did not produce one until two weeks after he started working. Needless to say, it was inaccurate. He had the number of bedrooms wrong and the work to be done was wrong also. I emailed him immediately and called and texted him to let him know the contract was wrong. He didnt respond, so I continued to mention it by phone, text, and in person. When it came time to complete the floors, he said...oh, no, that's not on the contract. This was not the only incident. It seemed that time and time again, when it came time to complete a task, he would say...oh, no, I didnt understand when you said this or that. One reason he was given the bid is because he said he would haul away the rubbish. He did not do this. I had to order a dumpster. Then, his crew only put some things in the dumpster, but left other things strew around my yard. For example, they through an old dishwasher, old doors/screens, plywood, flooring, cabinet, etc all over my yard. They took items to the garage to move them out of the way while they were working, but left my dining room chairs outside in the snow. They left my deep freezer outside in the snow as well, and my cabinet. They are all damaged. When the job was over, he said he would move the items back into the house and throw away any remaining trash. He did neither. He often left men working at the home without supervision. Their work was not high quality. Now, at the end of the job, I see that they painted right over my electrical sockets and light switches. The light switches are stuck because of paint. The electrical outlets are not useable. They painted several window sills very badly and others, they just skipped completely. Shelving was taken down, but not returned. It goes on and on.....The worst part was that insulation was not returned to my bathroom wall before sealing it and those pipes burst again within a week of the job ending. I believe this contractor may have the know how to complete an excellent job, but because of his rush to get things done, corners were cut and quality suffered tremendously. I tried to be reasonable and score this as a D instead of an F because a few things were done well, but I was really disappointed in this contractor in the end. He cost me more than it cost to hire him.

Eric is great to work with. He shows up on time & does a good job. He is very easy to deal with. I will continue to use his services.

Overall, they were pretty good and they showed up at work. There were a coupe of things that , to me, we had to take points off. I would say that one people should make sure that they know about the work that they are doing because there were things that he said they were going to do and then when we came back he kind of nickel and dimed us on stuff that he already said he was going to do. This should have been covered in his initial agreement and I should have got it in writing. While I can't necessarily fault him completely, but next time I will write it down so that we are all on the same page. In pulling up the old ceramic tile they got dust everywhere including in living room and family room. They did not take precautions from dust getting in these rooms. They did not clean it up after they left. There were some areas where the workmanship was good, but I could not give it an A. There was sanding to make it smoother to paint. He put the old drain basket in that was corroded and broken. The fact that he would put in was kind of blatant. When I pointed it out to him he immediately changed it, but a true craftsmen would never have put it in. I guess he was counting on me not to notice it. The biggest disappointment was that, while I think he does good work, sometimes you have to watch to make sure he does all that stuff. Later we caught a lot of other stuff that he did, but we did not want to go back over it. My overall interaction with him was good.

Eric is a craftsman! He and his crew have been to our house about 6 or 7 times for a variety of projects and always do excellent work. We have never been disappointed.

I highly recommend this company. Eric and his team are very professional. Someone returned my call within a business day. I made the appointment for consultation he was on time ,very knowledgeable, received a quote. And, when I was ready for his team to start, he came as agreed. The work was detailed and neatly executed. I delt with a lot of independent contractors who did not deliver what they promised but Mr. Eric, he stands by his word. And that's hard to find these days someone who has integrity and that you can trust. I will be working with him on some more projects.

They made magic and so quiet I didn't even know they were in the house. The wall is just like new all fixed and painted I can't tell where the hole use to be.

Took off work to drive an hour to my rental property to meet with Eric. He called to say he was running late. When he arrived, he did a walk through of the house and took notes on the repairs needed. He stated he would get back to us by the next morning on a quote. Didn't not respond. Called him. He stated it would be the following day. No response. Tried calling multiple times with no response to calls or messages. If he didn't want the work, he should have been respectful and let us know. Waste of my time

The upgrade was not completed. Although to his credit most of the job was done, it took lot of follow up, phone calls, delays, poor punctuality with appointments, etc to get the job done. The last item i.e., installing blinds was never completed after a very long delay and in the end for me to find out that the contractor went out of town to work on another project without completing my project. This whole process took a toll on me as well as on my tenants and put me in a bad position with my tenant. In summary, although he completed almost all the work after a very lengthy and frustrating process for me and my tenant, he still did not install the blinds which I paid for already.
