Eric is by far the best contractor I have ever used!! He is honest, dependable and works hard. After Eric torn out the ceiling, he found that the roof was leaking. This wasn't good news. He explained to us what he thought it may be and advised us to call the roofing company and have them fix it since the roof was still under warranty. Eric took the time to come out when the roofing company was there so there would be no miscommunication as to what was happening with the roof. Eric came back after the roof was fixed and put up the ceiling. Then he noticed a couple of the walls had condensation and needed to be torn out. He explained why this happened and then fixed, insulated and put up the dry wall on both walls. I have to say that Eric is a very honest man. He could have just put up the drywall in the whole room and never said a word. But he didn't. He was honest and told us what he found and then waited until it was fixed and came back to finish the jobs. The rooms look fantastic. He is very accomadating and is extremely knowledgable in his field. His crew was very nice and worked hard. They cleaned up as well. I would recommend Eric Henry to anyone who asks if i know a good contractor. Eric is great!!! Thanks Angie's list!

He did a very thorough job of hosing down the side of the building to find out exactly where it was leaking and cork it. He also was very professional about replacing part of the frame. They were on time and very efficient.

I thought they were reasonable. They were prompt. They did a good job. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

While the repairman was repairing my faucet I mentioned that I would be calling the plumber next to repair the sump pump. He asked if I wanted him to take a look at the pump and since he had done such a good job with the faucet I said ok. I'm really glad that I said ok because he did a fantastic job of repairing the sump pump as well. I liked his work so much that I'm making a list of repairs that I need done and I'll call the company for those repairs. Thank you Angie's List. I'm a very happy customer.

In preparing to purchase a new home I had contracted with another Angie's list home inspector to come out and perform a preliminary home inspection. I provided Eric of Home Repairs R US the very detailed 40 page inspection and he took the time to go over it so we would be on the same page of what needed to be done prior to our initial meeting. When we met, we walked over a list of about 12 things I wanted to have done from installing a garbage disposal to doing some minor electrical work to fixing a couple toilets. Eric came out the next day with two other gentlemen and completed all the tasks in a days work. I was very impressed with the versatility of their abilities and feel that the pricing provided was more than fair for the tasks they completed. I would highly recommend Home Repairs R US to any family and friends that needed a good handyman.

After searching the list for handymen and talking to a few on the phone, I decided to use Home Repairs R Us -- and I'm glad I did! I called and explained to Eric on the phone the list of things I needed repaired in the house. We agreed upon a date and time which I later had to call back to change. When he came to the house I ran off the list of repairs and walked Eric through the house; he took notes and wrote his own list; pointing out things and making helpful suggestions. He asked when we wanted to start the job and we agreed upon the next day. Eric met my husband at Mendard's the next morning to buy the supplies and he was there BEFORE my husband who is always 10 hours early for everything! Once they were back at the house, he and his crew of two tackled the projects. I liked that Eric inspected the work of this team before completion and he even went back to the store to get materials for a job that wasn't on my list! I had a great service experience with this company and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Eric came the same day thati called him. He had to go to the store three times to get the parts that he needed to complete the repair. H saw that my door knob needed a little repair and took care of that for me also.

They did a fine job. I think I expected more out of the job, but did exactly what I asked.

We have used his services twice. He is very punctual, polite, does a good job, and cleans up after the work is finished. His prices are reasonable. I recommend his services and I would use him again in the future.

Everything from start to finish was very easy. I called Eric on Monday night, he came by Wednesday and provided an estimate, and the work was done on Friday in less than a couple hours. He walked me through what he wanted to do and checked to make sure everything he was doing was to my liking. His work was completely professional and exemplary.

Back in September I called Eric for a quote for some minor repairs around my home (light fixtures, closets, deck). We set a date and time for the estimate but at the agreed upon time Eric did not arrive. I called and left a message and about 30 minutes later he called back to apologize as he had forgotten our appointment but was en route. So an hour+ after the appointment time he arrive I discussed the work I wanted done and the timeline. He called back a few days later with a quote that I thought was a little high. He advised it included the deck repair and I stated I was most concerned with the lights as I had an event coming up. I never heard from him again. Not sure if he only wants to focus on larger jobs but he need only but to say that. To never respond is just rude.

I called HOME REPAIRS R' US INC because on your list they were rated "A". I called HOME REPAIRS R' US INC on 10-20-2011 and scheduled for him to come over on 10-22-2011 between the hours of 3:30PM - 4:00PM, to repair a toilet that was leaking. When 4:15PM came around I called HOME REPAIRS R' US INC to see if he was running late, I got no answer. I called again about 4:25PM and still no one would answer. The final outcome was that HOME REPAIRS R' US INC never came nor did he call. Would advise Angie's List to change the rating for this company. I should of at least received a call to say that he could not make it. BAD BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE ON THIS BUSINESS PART.

Overall it was a good experience. I was a little nervous at first because I had never hired anyone other than people recommended by friends. The reports on Home Repairs R' Us on Angie's list were very accurate! You won't be disappointed!

Everything went better than I could have hoped.

The owner called and said he would arrive between 1 and 2 PM - he and one of his employees arrived at 1:15. My wife told them what needed to be done. The owner left for another job, and called back a little later to make sure that all the work was completed and that it was done to her satisfaction, which it was. THANK YOU so much to these guys! They are on time, professional, and make sure the work is done the way you want it to be done. We have a LOT more work that needs to be done, and we will be calling them again for sure!!! Nice to deal with real people who just want to do what needs to be done at a fair price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I have used them multiple times for handyman kind of general repairs like putting in firewall door about a year ago. They were very responsive. The work had to be done around the rain and they always kept me informed if they couldn’t make it because of the weather. They reschedule and always keep in touch with me about what is going on. They are very reasonably priced and they do really good work.

He called me back immediately. He was knowledgeable and asked me questions to assess the situation. He came out the same day and he even called and let us know he was on the way. He was affordable and professional and I would recommend him to anyone. His estimate was accurate to the actual cost of the job.

I was very happy with him. He fixed a persistent problem where I wasn't sure what was going on. He was right on time and did a good job. His pricing was good too.

Everything went well. He was very personable and respectful, he cleaned up well, and he did a great job. I was very satisfied with his work. I would recommend him to others as well.

I called Eric for a estimate and he returned my call right away, we set up a date for him to come by and give an estimate which had to be reschedule because he had a problem at another jobsite. When we reschedule Eric arrived on time and was a very nice man. I told him what we wanted done and he gave us some great suggestions, which I appreciated. Eric did a decent job but I would suggest the following: 1. Make sure you write down in detail what you want done and what he tells you he will do and have him initial what you both discuss/decide. ( we told him we wanted the entire living room painted, but he didn't remember us discussing; we told him we wanted the wallpaper removed in our bathroom, which he forgot as well; he told us he would paint the vent covers in the kitchen, but forgot he told us that as well; he didn't remove all the wallpaper in our kitchen as we discussed; also he placed tile edging on our kitchen wall but he didn't have the grout for the tile and my husband had to apply the grout). 2. Make sure he provides you with a contract. (he forgot the contract and asked for my email address which I gave him both my work and my home email addresses but I never received a contract). 3. Make sure he honors 10% discount (when he gave us his estimate we asked if we could use the10% discount he offered on Angies List, which he told us we could, but he gave us $60 off total price instead. FYI...The 10% discount was more than $60). 4. Make sure you ask how many people will work with him (he told us 3 people but, I only saw 1 person)

Eric offered good pricing, and was very nice. He did good, neat work. I’ve already recommended him to friends and family.

Eric was prompt and he kept me updated as he was performing the work. His price was reasonable.

Well, when I contacted them they were able to come sooner to do the job than anyone else I called. they were very flexable with the start time and worked around my appts, they helped me make decisions on the type of materials I could get them to work with and gave me the knowledge I needed to make intelligent decisions. What was very surprising was how efficiently they performed their work! The work was completed so fast, and it it looks excellent! They treated the job like it was second nature, like "this is what they do". Very no nonsense, very professional. I appreciated the job they did.

Overall the experience was great. From the began to the end. Thank you ANGIE LIST!!!
