 + -1 moreBoth bath and kitchen remodeling projects went according to promised schedule, which means a lot. S & H crew showed up on time, stayed focus on the job at hand, and respected our home by being neat and cleaning up everyday before leaving. From demo to installation, plumbing, and painting they did a fantastic job of bringing our 1970s home up to code. Each day they responded to any concerns before, during and after, and I had lots of questions! They were just great to work with. Our bath and kitchen were each finished to perfection. I’m so happy with the results and am glad I chose S & H Remodeling. I would definitely chose them again for any remodeling needs and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: S&H Remodeling did a complete finish of our basement, from planning and framing to every finishing detail (carpet, paint, baseboards, electrical, etc.). Their work is outstanding!!! The owner is very easy to talk with and clearly cares about what his customers want. Very fair pricing as well. We only marked lower on "professionalism" due to a few issues with start times and communication. Of course, much of the negative issues had to do with there being so many workers involved in the various stages of our basement project (great to have experts working in their experienced areas!). -- Sometimes schedules get mixed-up. BUT, we would still highly recommend S&H and we would definitely hire them again!!

He came in under budget. He finished it in a timely manner. We have already referred him to our other friends. They want to make there homes look as nice as ours.
Description of Work: We wanted our basement finished and called S&H Remodeling. They were referred to us by a friend. The basement was finished along with an additional bathroom and master bedroom. Eric "The Owner" added a play room and a large laundry area.

 + 4 moreThey did a fantastic job and I was very pleased. The job took roughly three days where the staff worked around my schedule. Living in a condo with strict rules, they were able to accommodate to the tight guidelines enforced by the condominium. The crew was able to strip the complete bathroom as well as clean-up in a very timely manner. I would definitely use them again in the city.
Description of Work: S&H Remodeling remodeled the complete bathroom in my loft in Chicago. They replaced the vanities, toilet, tiled the floor, added cabinets and painted.

 + 4 moreEric's crew did a phenomenal job! He set the tone by having 7 guys between the framers, electricians, and HVAC working in my basement on the first day. They kept the area clean everyday and we had great communication throughout the job. What impressed me the most was that the job was handled so smoothly and Eric addressed field changes as they came up and never once asked to revise the quote in order to address the changes. A true professional!
Description of Work: S&H Remodeling finished approx. 1,250 sq. ft. of my walk out basement which included framing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, trim, etc.
