I can not speak highly enough of this fantastic company. We had them come out in July of 2020 during the pandemic to address RATS that had gotten into our suburban house and were wreaking havoc on my family's lives. Unlike, the other two pest control companies we contacted (one major name brand company was too afraid to even deal with the rats and the other had no idea how to get them out and was going to charge $5000 to create an exterior barrier)). Jerry and Brian formulated a plan to address the rat problem and were successful in carrying it out. Not only did they kill off the rats but they sealed off the house from any further incursions. Just recently (July of 2024) one of the exterior corner barriers that they installed in July of 2020 was pulled down so we were afraid that we had another rat issue on our hands. Fortunately, it was just caused by my dog chasing after a mouse that was trying to squeeze through a small opening. They immediately took time out of his busy schedule late on a Friday and repaired the hole that my dog made and refused to take any money. I do not feel right about it so I wanted to make sure that I let everyone know who might be looking for the best pest control company in Illinois to reach out to them to address your needs. Jerry, the owner of Chicago Green Trappers is not only an extraordinary professional; he is an extraordinary person. I'm an extreme animal lover. I don't kill bugs. I save spiders. For me, the worst nightmare is getting mice or raccoons in the house, any type of critter, because I could never conceive of killing them, ever never. They must be rescued and relocated somewhere comfortable! My last house, I had a horrible mouse problem. One of the wide-eyed little furballs ended up in my bed. I felt something fuzzy crawling down my leg one night, and to my surprise, it was a rotund, white mouse. He was so relaxed, he just looked at me, didn't even try to escape. Imagine the mice in cartoons, the cute ones with big ears--yep, you got it. I had them throughout the house. I called Jerry in tears, and within a couple hours, he had his crew there. They came with "Have a Heart" humane traps. They laid them out every morning for a week, and then returned in the evening to release the traps into the forest preserve. We successfully rescued all of them, and then Jerry's team "critter proofed" the house inside and out using humane exclusion methods. Never had a mouse since. Chicago Green Rescue has done that for three of my homes now, and I would trust them with my life. My boyfriend and I just bought a house together at the bottom of a wild field facing Lake Michigan. Needless to say, our property is full of life! Lizards, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, possums, field mice, bats, you name it, they live there. Jerry of Chicago Green Rescue came out, inspected our entire home, and then sent his crew for their "critter proofing." I wouldn't live in a home that didn't have Jerry doing his thing first. Jerry also cares about and understands the emotions and perspective of his customers. He knows how deeply I love animals. He not only respects it, he honors it. And Chicago Green Rescue does so much more than critter rescue and critter proofing. They'll also come out and do an industrial cleaning if your home has been ransacked by lovely little furballs. In our case, our new home didn't have infestation of any sort, except it was really, really, REALLY dirty. That, on top of some rehab that caused more dirt, and I was losing my mind. Jerry said, "Jodee, it's okay, we can do that too. I'll send my crew and we'll get this place cleaned right up." So, listen to this, how amazing this company is--the crew comes and cleans brilliantly and beautifully attending to every detail, top and bottom, every square inch, ceilings, walls, wirings, and afterwards, there wasn't a dust web or speck of dirt even in the deepest, darkest corner. Suffice to say when they were done, my boyfriend and I were almost choked up by how much heart they put into the job. This company goes above and beyond any company I have ever worked with in the home space. I not only recommend them....I celebrate them.

I went well. They were very professional. They followed up with us to set up the second visit. We paid half of the fee on the initial work and the second half of the fee on the final visit. I would recommend them. I like their approach to solving the squirrel problem.
