Description of Work: I phoned to get an estimate on having the bathtub reglazed. The person I spoke to gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. He was very professional and courteous. I didn't use them because there was a longer wait time to have the service done than I wanted. It was only a 2-3 week wait but I wanted it done right away.

Description of Work: On 05/14/13 Arlington refinished my bath tub. I was so impressed with the quality of their work. They came on time and were every professional. The finished job was great , my tub looks like a new bath tub.

Description of Work: On two separate occassions, Arlington Porcelain refinished two bath tubs for us. Our home was built in 1998 and the fixtures were original and in great shape. But, one bath was Desert Rose and the master was a Bluish Gray. We had both tubs refinished in white and they look brand new! Major difference! They were very good to cover the surrounding wall and floor area with paper before starting the process. No clean up on my part after the work. The master tub is a jacuzzi and we had a little trouble finding replacement parts in white, but, thanks to the internet we finally did. On the master bath job they had to come out three times and did so without complaint. There was a small paint drip, and, I admit it, I touched the paint in several spots before it dried. They were great not to chastise me for touching the tub. One note of advise; DON'T TOUCH THE WET PAINT. If you live in the Northwest suburban area, I would highly recommend requesting Chris. Great personality (he was very kind and respectful to our 90 year old mom who lives with us) and very proud of his work. I met Joe (the owner) on the third and last trip. He was also great and wanted to be sure we were satisfied with the work. We had called wanting to buy some touch-up paint as we had scratched the tub hanging the new shower rod. They preferred to come out and repair the scratches and did so without hesitation.

Description of Work: I received a quote from this service provider. It was a little hard to schedule, but I just haven’t had time to do the project itself so I haven’t used them.

Description of Work: The house was built in 1959 and has the original tub. We had it refinished about 2 years ago by another firm and it chipped. I called Arlington Porcelain explained the situation. Joe agreed to come and take a look to see if the chip could be repaired. He showed up right on time explained why it could not be repaired. He explained the process of refinishing the tub and how they would remove the material that was placed on the tub two years ago. He explained how he would ventilate the bathroom by placing a tube out the window. He showed up right on time on the day the work was to be completed and called one day prior to confirm. He came back to caulk the tub 4 days later. He was very neat and cleaned up any mess. The tub looks great and I would use Arlington Porcelain again!

Description of Work: CAME ON TIME. DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. EXPLAINED HOW TO MAINTAIN THE TUB, AND CLEANED UP FAIRLY WELL. I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD THE TUB RESURFACED BY ANOTHER COMPANY A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE JOB. THE DIFFERENCE IS REMARKABLE.
