Description of Work: Called out regarding a leak in the basement. We spent a lot of time taking because the size of the leak was substantial, but it seemed to be from a newly installed water heater (though the plumbers who installed the unit claimed it was not). We worked to make a case to the plumbing company, calm my tenants, and put a temporary fix in if the heater overflowed again. | |No work was performed, but the professionalism, responsiveness, and advice were invaluable and if I do ever have need of these services I will not hesitate to call!

Description of Work: We called ABD to get a second opinion on work done improperly by another company. We had drain tile installed under our basement floor in an attempt to keep our basement free from seepage after last spring's very wet weather. ABD provided the same advice as the first estimate, at a much better price. This is the second time I have used ABD and I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism, work, and prices. I hope that we don't ever have to call them again, but they will be the first I will contact if we do.

Description of Work: We had some water leaking into our basement from the junction of the stone outside steps and the foundation. Mark came in, assessed the situation and, so far at least, no water. ABD previously repaired a leak in our foundation. Another company had done the job previously but it didn't work. When I tried to contact them, they were out of business. Quelle surpise! ABD (Mark) came out and redid the work w/ different materials and we've been bone dry since. Price is reasonable, but I guess they're busy. It took a while to get on the schedule, but it was worth the wait.

+ -1 moreOur experience was very favorable. We solicited bids from ABD and two of the larger companies. Unlike the other companies, Orrin did not pressure us into signing an arbitration agreement or ask that we initial a form saying we were entering into a contract before we had even decided to do so. He performed the work himself. He was professional and courteous throughout. We would definitely recommend him.
Description of Work: Orrin filled two cracks in our foundation with expoxy injection. We have had no more water through those cracks, and they held up perfectly during Wheaton's recent flood.

+ -1 moreOrin came to our home and accessed the work that needed to be done. The other companies told me not to worry about the hairline cracks above the windows because they were above ground and some of the other hard to reach cracks did not need attention. Orin took his time to fill all the hairline and the hard to reach cracks, which gives me peace of mind. I had a tight schedule and Orin worked within that time frame. At the end of the day I had all cracks filled by Orin for about $500 less than other competitors.
Description of Work: We had three and a half cracks in our basement walls. One was a large settling crack and the other were hairline cracks around the windows.

+ -1 moreORRIN CALLED BACK WITHIN 20 MIN. HE CALLED TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT AND CAME WHEN HE SAID, AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN ALL THE STEPS NEEDED TO FIX OUR TWO PROBLEM AREAS. FOR THE WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE THE PRICING WAS MORE THAN FAIR. THAT SCORES HIGH POINTS WITH ME. I FELT THAT HE CARES ABOUT HIS CLIENTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND ORRIN WITHOUT HESITATION.
Description of Work: WE HAD TWO OLD CRACKS IN THE FOUNDATION THAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED. SINCE THEY WERE PATCHED BEFORE, THE REPAIR WAS A BIGGER JOB THEN FIRST BELIEVED.
