The reason this review is submitted 6 months after the repair was made, is because we really haven't had a lot of rain to judge the work. Recently though we have experienced torrential rains and the repair has held up well. We used to get a puddle on the basement floor after heavy rains, but after his repair, not a drop of water was present on the walls or the floor. We are very happy with his work and have already recommended him to a friend.

I called Chris who came over the next day. He checked out the issue and told us what we needed. We had been told by another water proofer that we need a $7000.00 repair. Thank goodness that we called Chris. Our leakage issue was an easy fix with a lifetime guarantee. He was very professional and informative. He explained what caused the leak and what he would do to fix the problem. We liked his honesty, he told us that " if it isn't broken, don't fix it". They cleaned up when they were done. We would highly recommend him!

Mr. Chris Megery was on time, reasonably priced and guarantees his work with a Lifetime Guarantee. He told me how to see if I was getting any seepage. I only got a little before he worked on it.

i called A1 Basement Waterproofing on a Saturday, left a voicemail. Chris quickly called back, we discussed the problem and his recommended solution, he gave me a quote over the phone and we scheduled to do the work the next day, which was Sunday morning. After arriving promptly at the appointment time, Chris first inspected the areas to be repaired and then reviewed in detail what work would be accomplished, basically what we had discussed over the phone the day prior. Surface area approx. 2" each side of the cracks was cleaned of any debris to provide a clean surface for adhesion. Surface ports were then bonded 6-10" apart on the foundation cracks, surface seal was then applied over the entire length of the crack and over and around the base of the surface ports on the cracks and also on the tie rod holes that had leaking. Surface prep, surface ports and surface seal application took approximately an hour. Chris and Marko then left for an hour to allow the surface seal to dry. Upon returning, injection of the polyurethane foam into the surface ports was completed as well as clean up around the work areas, this took approximately an hour. A1 provided a written Lifetime Warranty that is transferable to new owners. A couple of extras thing that was done at no additional charge: Caulked around a window well window frame that water had been seeping in. Chris also gave some helpful DIY tips for sealing a window on a window well that is not draining properly and also some trouble shooting tips on window well drainage tile. Overall I was very satisfied with the overall expertise, work, communication and response time. Also I felt the pricing was competitive as I had compared to couple other service providers. I'll be waiting for the next heavy rain and/or snow melt to see how well the foundation cracks and tie rod holes have been sealed.

Mr. Megyery was prompt and very professional. He showed me that simply caulking around a door and a few other places might solve any water coming into my basement. He also showed me some ways to figure out ways to find the source of any small crack, if there is one, if any water does seep into the basement . He didn't want to charge me anything for his help, although he drove a long way to my house and was very prompt. He was extremely kind and helpful and I would definitely hire him to fix any crack I might have in the foundation. Just caulking may solve the problem because it rarely comes in and if it does, it is very little. I called him because of his high ratings on Angie's list and he lived up to my expectations and far surpassed them by helping me do the work myself and not charging me for his advice. That is so unusual. I will definitely hire him, if necessary, because of his professionalism and knowledge of minor basement seepage. I understand why he has such high ratings on Angie's List.

Reps arrived on time, assessed situation, explained procedure, completed partial work, returned as stated an hour later, and completed repairs. Hasn't rained since repairs were done so I cannot assess the quality yet.

Chris the owner was awesome!! Called him last week to get an estimate and he came out the same day I called. Just finished the job last week and so far so good. Love that he gave a lifetime warranty on his work.

Giving an A rating, but its right on the border of an A and a B for me. Very professional guy, wonderful prices, very quick and helpful, wonderful prices. The one criticism is that he put these "bolts" in the wall to inject the epoxy that wont be removed unless I saw them down. I'm sure that's standard, but I wish he would've given me a headsup. Everything else was fine.

Chris promptly answered my call. Gave us a quote on the phone. Scheduled appointment & showed on - time. Did exactly what he said he would do. Very knowledgeable.

A1 Basement Waterproofing are phenomenal. We had 5 major cracks, they came out, sealed them out and gave us a lifetime guarantee. One of them had recent flooding and started leaking again and he said he would come back and take care of it. He hasn't taken care of it yet because he has been busy with flooding but he says he is going to take care of it for free because it has a lifetime guarantee. Chris is a very nice man and he is a wonderful man and I called them up and asked them when they were open to schedule because I have two more to do, I would definitely use them again. He is awesome, he was very personable, he didn't have any problem discussing health issues after seeing that I am disabled, he looked at what my situation was and he said that I should fix the 4 cracks and leave the crack behind the furnace because it would be extremely expensive to remove the furnace to fix that crack so he looked for some cost savings which impressed me. He explained everything that he was going to do. He went beyond what he had to do, it was between him and another company and when he came in and told me what could be done and what couldn't be done, that was it, I knew I wanted to use him. He came out the same day when we were flooding to check it out and he came the next day to fix it.

I noticed my rental house had a leaky basement, called a few water proofing companies, that were ridicules in price. Then found A-1 on angesic list. Chris is a great guy ,good price, clean and more on time than me. And didn't over sell me on extras. He said let's see if this take care of problem. I'll come back if needed.
