It didn't go. The gentleman first declared that he would have to dispatch a truck and that would cost $185. Then he asked how long the snow had been on the driveway. I said about a week. And he said that would require special action and he would have to put salt down so the end cost was $200 a shovel. I was frantic because my food was running low and I couldn't afford $200 a shovel. I called the Village of Hanover Park and they recommended someone who came right out and for a modest fee immediately cleared my driveway. I will hire him again!!!

Selvin is very professional in his workmanship. What I appreciate is that Selvin, the owner, actively participated in the paving. He came later that night as well to cover the newly paved sidewalk to protect it from the elements.

They are here right now! Doing a great job! They responded quickly to our initial phone call, got us quote, answered all our questions, got the stakes in to mark the driveway --- all in a few days and just in time for a big snow! Very pleased with their work.

This is the second time we have used Selvin Landscaping. Selvin is very personable and straight forward. His crew is very nice and leaves the work space clean each day before going home. We had standing water in our backyard. Selvin's crew put in drainage and rock and landscaping. The work was done on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Selvin and his crew did a beautiful job! The response to my inquiry was prompt. Selvin came out within a few days for a consultation and subsequent estimate. They quoted me a reasonable price for the job and answered any questions I had before and during the job. Since they use Unilock pavers, I was also able to go to their showroom in Aurora to see the demos and samples of stones before they were installed. They stayed on schedule and completed the project on-time and within the agreed upon budget. The whole team was hard-working and professional throughout the job. They were very precise with their measurements and made sure the patio sloped slightly away from the house so the water does not pool. I have received many compliments on the work! I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them!

Selvin and his team were wonderful to work with. From the time we hired them to the time we made it to installation he and his team kept in touch. When the team arrived at our home they were attentive to our needs and the curb appeal we were looking for. The team worked through probably the two hottest days of the year to finish the work. It looks beautiful and we will be hiring them again in 2019 to finish the other two sides of the house. They are one of the best companies I have worked with in a long time.

The men arrived when they said they would. Work was done in 2 days like it was quoted. The 2 men that where here from the company were very polite and did an excellent job. They even did a little extra work that my husband asked if they could do. The men were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. Then after they were done with the sod and stone along the grass edge they cleaned everything up and cleaned off the driveway where the pallet of sod was. Husband and I were very happy with the work and will hire them again for putting sod down in the front yard in a month if we decide to do the front yard.

Selvin was nothing but professional, punctual and easy to work with. He was able to squeeze this job in as I hired him "late" in the season It was a gift for my son and his wife who are expecting next month and the yard got away from them. We also needed to coordinate them being home due to their dog not being receptive to strangers in her yard. So between many emails and Mother Nature cooperating last Sunday, the work was started. The work included weeding all the beds, trimming MANY bushes, digging out overgrown sucker growth, spreading mulch, mowing the lawn, just to name a few tasks. Oh I forgot to mention that Selvin initially said it would be a two day job, but got an extra crew together to do it in one day! He sent me a complete set of before and after photos in his email saying the job was completed. My kids are thrilled beyond words and I can't thank Selvin enough for a truly beautiful job of giving them their yard back. Money well spent for a quality job by an excellent business man.
