Description of Work: We had the misfortune of using this company to move us into our first home. We scheduled a move and let the lady from the company know that we were moving our belongings from 2 places: a storage locker and an apartment. We made sure to let her know that there would be TWO stops for picking up our belongings and said that we would need two trucks to handle all of the items. A couple of days before the move, we called the company again just to confirm all the details and ensure they would be coming. The lady confirmed that the move was scheduled but said she had forgotten that we needed two trucks and that she would make sure we had that on the move day. | |On the move day, four guys arrived with the two trucks at the storage locker location. When they were almost done loading the truck, we told them that they could follow us to the apartment to load the rest of our items. Brian, the team leader, said that he didn't know anything about a 2nd stop. He got angry and repeatedly said that this wasn't part of the agreement and that he was going to charge us extra for the 2nd stop. We told him several times that it was a part of the agreement and that we had confirmed this twice. He eventually agreed to go to the apartment. His demeanor was completely unprofessional and aggressive. | |When the movers got to the apartment, Brian walked around the place saying things like "Are you kidding me, bro?" and "What else do you have hiding in here?" and again saying that this stop wasn't in the contract. We again told him that it was in the contract and that we had asked for 2 trucks for all of our stuff. The entire rest of the move, Brian was angry and clearly did not care about being careful with our belongings. At one point, some of our clothes fell out of the truck when they were loading and he left it there for a while even though it had just rained and the ground was wet. I had to ask him to pick it up. He literally glared at us. John, his brother, was one of the movers and kept apologizing for Brian's bad behavior. | |I called the company during this time and told the lady (I think it was Patty but not sure) what was going on. She apologized and said that when we called the last time to confirm the move, she had forgotten to schedule the 2nd truck and got preoccupied with that and didn't tell the movers about the 2nd stop they had to make at the apartment. She said she would call Brian and talk to him. I told Brian that I was sorry that his company didn't inform him of the move details accurately but that he should not take his anger out at us. Brian 'checked out' for the rest of the move and stayed in the truck. We finally got to our new home and the rest of the 3 movers unloaded the trucks. | |At the END of the move when the trucks were unloaded and they were ready to leave, Brian comes out of the truck and says that he called the company and that the second stop at the apartment had been confirmed and said that he apologizes. Not sure why it took until the end of the move for him to come out and say that. But overall, he made our move a bad experience. It was our first home, we were excited, and this guy completely ruined the experience. Angie's list periodically sends e-mails asking me to review this company, so that is why I'm reviewing it now. | |There were some items that sustained some damage during the move but I did not want to bother with this company anymore and didn't inform them of this. I will say that John was great - he seemed to care about our belongings and repeatedly apologized for Brian's behavior. | | | | | |

Description of Work: My daughter was moving from Park Forest to a townhouse in Frankfort. It was snowing when the men arrived. Despite the nasty conditions, they worked efficiently loading and unloading the truck. Everything was moved safely with no problems. Great crew. And, the price was reasonable.

Description of Work: Moved us from a 2 bdrm apt to a house. They were nice, helpful, professional, efficient. My only complaint is that they were a little rough with some things (wooden tv stand has 2 big gouges, 2 shelving units have corners broken off, filing cabinet missing a wheel, lawn chairs are missing, presumably forgotten at old place).
