The move went very well. The workers texted prior to arrival and arrived right on time, as scheduled. They packed and wrapped things carefully and loaded the truck. Once we reached the destination, they unloaded the boxes and furniture into the storage unit and arranged everything in an organized way. All three crew members were polite and efficient, and they wore masks throughout. Everything was completed in just 3 hours! I highly recommend this company.

The move went very smoothly. The crew arrived on time, worked carefully to wrap the necessary pieces of furniture, loaded the moving truck, and met us at the storage unit. There they unloaded everything, placing things neatly and efficiently into the space available. We couldn't be happier with how this all worked out!

The men that was packing the truck was in a hurry and when unloading the truck into the home he was running stuff and seeing where does it go where does it go instead of reading the box everything was thrown in our basement The two young gentleman that were also moving stuff or getting angry at him for just running things and he even handed me two boxes and said here this isn’t heavy I was not happy with him on the drop off

Everything was done with no hitch. Timing was very important for us so we needed them to be there when they said they would. It worked out great and they were very professional about it. I'm not planning another move but if I did, I'll hire them again.

I have used J&P 3 times and would never use any other moving company. The crew is always on time, efficient, careful, flexible, and great people. I’ve had a couple of difficult moves and they always are able to get through it without issue. They take amazing care of my possessions and you can tell these guys know how to get the job done in any situation. I highly recommend this team for anyone’s next move.

J&P has helped me move twice now! If I need to move again in the future I will definitely continue to use them! The guys on the job were great and really thorough. There is great communication in the office! The entire time from scheduling until the day of the move it’s completely smooth. If you are looking for a stress free move use them!

Everything went great. Guys showed up a few minutes early even and were all ready to go. Had the furniture disassembled and in the truck quickly and same thing on the delivery side. I would definitely recommend them.

Perfect, easy, and with care! Also, the team was professional, skilled, and (most importantly) friendly. This was my mother's first solo move (without my father), and she appreciated the personal touch and great attitude of the crew!

I'm a repeat customer of J & P - I've used them three or four times over the years. The movers themselves are always very polite and respectful, and the employees who work in the office are also very responsive and helpful. On this last move, I did have an issue that resulted in one of the movers inadvertently cracking a television screen. But with any move, mistakes do happen, and after a thoughtful conversation with the owner, they made the situation right.

Overall the experience was positive. Moving is never fun, but the crew from J&P made the process more bearable. Bonnie from the office was very responsive and went out of her way to get me a quote in short order and answer all my questions. She even texted me the morning of the move to let us know that their game plan changed. The original plan was a 5 person crew for 8-9 hours and two box trucks starting at 9 a.m. Bonnie let me know in the morning that one of the crew members had an emergency and would be there late. Also, the rest of the crew, who had waited for him to arrive would also be late. Four of the crew arrived around 10 without the crew leader to get started. Around 11:30 the crew leader arrived. Then, shortly after we arrive at the new house (3ish) one of the crew members bailed and the others were not too happy about it. At the end of the day, they came within $100 of the original quote. Despite a couple of hiccups, the guys were great. The were kind, polite and accommodating. They even removed a couple of pieces of heavy furniture when I decided that I wanted them placed in an alternative room. Several of my items were fragile and aside from a couple of chipped plates (my fault for not packing them better) none of my items were damaged. They did put an gash in the baseboard moving a piece of difficult to move furniture, but they also got a KING Tempurpedic mattress up a narrow attic staircase in a Craftsman home with low ceilings...so I am calling that a win. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this team again.

The J&P team was AMAZING!!! These guys showed up like a swat team. After a few minutes it was obvious that my “help” was just slowing them down. They hand wrapped our sets of fine china and crystal, plus all our everyday stuff. All furniture was cushion wrapped and carefully carried to the truck. They were done in no time, and the bill was spot on to the estimate! We are using them again in a week to move my fiancé’s house from Chicago to AZ. They have it all planned out, they took all the worry out of a stressful week. John, Anthony and Cameron are the rock stars of the moving game!!!

The crew arrived right on time into the morning. That was a great start. They took very good care to pack my dishes well and my china. The furniture was wrapped very nicely. I was amazed how much furniture the truck held! They were a great bunch of guys and even in the best had good spirits. I was really amazed by what they did. I would definitely say J & P is worth every penny. This was by far the best move I have had.

Movers were sloppy in their packing of boxes and the truck. This resulted in broken glasses, stained rugs (rugs packed next to bike tires?), broken lamp shades, etc. I have moved many times and this was the worst experience we have had.

John,Joe, Sal and Steve did a great job. They were right on time, had a wonderful additude and never stopped hustling. The move into the apartment was difficult but they never complained. We will be calling this same crew when we move again in 6 months.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with J & P. Moving is dreadful no matter which way you look at it and having movers that are punctual, thorough, and thoughtful made this move so much easier for me. I definitely got the A team with Chris (crew leader), Kevin and Steve. these guys had a sense of humor (which added much needed levity to the stressful day), were polite (Kevin - please stop calling me "miss"!!), and they took care of my stuff seemingly as if it were their own. NOTHING GOT BROKEN!! And nothing was scratched. They wrapped everything so well and didn't hesitate to ask questions and I tried to make things easier for them by directing them to the right room (upon delivery in our new home). It was a good partnership and I would certainly recommend them and use them again (hopefully not for a long time though!).

Moving is never easy but J&P made it go as smooth as possible. Patty did a fantastic job consulting and making sure everything was in line before the move. I’m still counting but we’re up to eight on the number of times my spouse commented on how nice the movers were. I would strongly recommend J&P to anyone that has a upcoming move.
