Frank was wonderful and answered all of our questions. His prices were reasonable and he and his crew did a great job. We were VERY pleased with the outcome. We would definitely hire International Paving again. Great experience all the way around!!

Price was the best of 3 proposals. International was very cooperative with my schedule and was able to complete the project in 2 days. They brought a full crew, were very professional and I am very satisfied with the result.

I requested a quote from several differnt compaines from Angie's list. The quote I recieved from Frank at Internation Paving was very perfessional and listed 3 different options along with his recommendation. It was very easy to understand and I felt very comfortable with taking his recommendation. My original driveway was in such bad shape that it was starting to cause damage with my neighbors driveway that side by side with mine. Frank had his crew include the small section of my neighbors driveway in total total project at the same quoted price. We were both extremely pleased with the way it turn out. I would be happy to recommend International Paving to anyone who is looking for a new asphalt driveway. Thanks Frank & crew for a wonderful job !

Our village threw a wrinkle in our plans by making us decrease the size of our driveway, but Frank, Hector and his crew just rolled with it. They gave us an extra area off the garage walk out that made for a nice place to put the grill and contoured the driveway so it matched our backyard landscaping. It looks fantastic! They also lifted our concrete stoop that had sunk and now the exterior of the house is complete! I can't say enough wonderful things about Frank, Hector, and all the International Paving crew!

I called Frank on 5/4/13 in the morning and he was very polite. He said that he could provide me with an estimate simply by looking at the dimensions online. I emailed him the address for the services and within a few hours he emailed his estimate back to me. He included multiple grades and prices for us to choose from. We hope to make a decision within the week on which company we will go with.

International (Frank) was extremely responsive in getting over to look and evaluate the job site. He contacted me immediately, presented prices for the 2 options that I requested - non removal of present asphalt w/ a little layer of new asphalt over it w/ sealer, OR complete removal of existing asphalt and 3 or 4 inches of new asphalt put in . I opted for the 4 inch replacement because of its longer life expectancy (as Frank stated). My next door neighbor (apt. bldg. also) needed his drive way replaced. So I contacted him, and inquired as to whether he wanted to get his redone now. He was all for it. So Frank gave us quite a combination deal, that saved us both "a good piece of change". Frank's a great guy to deal with - explains everything, quite accommodating in meeting your needs, plus is more than willing to go "the extra mile" in assuring that you're content and happy. When it came time for the jobs to get done, his brother Hector, the supervisor of the crew, (he also tells me, he's the handsomer one, and that Frank is "the brains of the outfit"), was punctual in showing up with his men on time and covering the 2 jobs over a 2 day period. He helped the crew by contributing some of the heavy duty work, while at the same time overlooking the job. He, like Frank, is a great guy to deal with. He was very accommodating in making sure that all my needs were met. Cleanup was done in a nice, neat, orderly way. International is just a great company, as the business is ran the way that a business should be ran. They're more than fair in their prices (I received 5 estimates and they were the most reasonable). They give you " the most for your money ". I only wish that our government was ran as efficient as International Paving is. Heck, if Frank and Hector ran for a political office, I'd probably vote for them. Just a couple good guys !!! By the way, my next door neighbor, was also extremely pleased with the results of his driveway, and commented of how great a job they did.

They were delayed a couple weeks due to rain but they did an excellent job. Frank provided a detailed estimate with pictures that made it easy to understand the quote. The crew worked hard and was respectful of our yard. They will be coming back to paint a basketball lane near where we have installed a basketball hoop when their schedule allows. I will report back once that is done. Overall, we were very pleased and will gladly refer them to others who are considering a new asphalt driveway.

He came and sealed the driveway two times. The first time it had some cracks in the driveway. We were not happy with the work. Once we talked to him and after some discussions he came back and fixed the driveway to my liking. I do appreciate that he came back. I know he was busy but he did come back and fix the job.

Everything was WONDERFUL!! Frank was always very responsive.... he showed up quickly to review the project, had a quote within less than 24 hours, and provided revised quotes very quickly. Because he treated this as one project for us, we received better pricing (the more square feet, the less he charged per square foot). His quote was extremely detailed!!! It told us exactly what they were going to do, how much they were charging us for each piece of the project, where they were getting the materials, and tons of pictures and references. Frank's team showed up when expected and was very friendly and professional. We had off and on rain so it wasn't very nice out but they still got the job done in 2 days. One driveway was lined with hostas and not only did they tear it out, but laid new asphalt without destroying the plants - it was amazing! Because of how the house was built, there was one section that wouldn't drain away from the house so they put in a drain that ran under the driveway and through a large landscaped area to the ditch by the road. Again, they did a great job and it didn't even look like they touch the landscaping after it was done. They had to go to the store to buy these materials but didn't charge me any extra for this work. They were also very consciencious that I had dogs and always closed up the gates when they were done for the day. I have had a lot of work done on my house in the last few years and have had a lot of issues.... I can honestly say that I had no issues and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND International Paving!!

I called on 9/7/11 and scheduled an appointment to have an estimate at 10:00 to 10:30 am on 9/8/11. He never came. He never called.

He was amazing. He provided maps and drawings of what the paving would look like when it was done.

The project went very well. Despite the bad weather, they finished the job on time and and I was impressed by how careful and detailed they were while doing the job. I am really glad I used this company.

The workers from International Paving Inc. Company were fast. They did a quality job. They were easy to talk to. They were reasonably priced. I would use them again in the future if required.

Frank just might be the most professional, prompt responsible and thorough professional contractor we've ever used. We contacted him about two years ago for our first estimate but decided to wait. We called him back this summer and he remembered us and came back out to take another look at the job. From the estimate to the final installation everything was easy to manage. This project was complicated because it was part of a bigger landscape installation. It also involved permits with the Village of Glen Ellyn. Frank did everything he could to make this easy on us...including registering his company with the Village of GE, working with our landscaper, remaining flexible with his schedule so it fit best into the overall project AND he went to the Village and waited over an hour on the installation day to get approval for a small change we wanted to make. On the day of installation the team was there at the exact time he said they would...and they removed our old, hauled it away, regraded the area and installed the new driveway in about 7 hours. If you need asphalt work...hire International Paving!

I used Angie's List to get the names for three estimates and also checked the three firms against the BBB records, and then quickly narrowed the choice to two. I finally decided to go with International Paving of Addison because the estimator, Frank Hernandez, had the best ideas for the culvert pipe replacement and re-grading of the culvert area to enhance the appearance and maintain the proper drainage. Also Frank proposed using the steel flares on the pipe even before I knew about the village code requirement, and supplied the schematic to present to the village engineer. Another deciding factor was that Frank also suggested using a number of railroad ties to form a boundary on the back side of the parking area which faces a hillside slope. This is not unusual but Frank had the ties cut so as to dovetail and held in place with 3 ft pieces of steel rods hammered into the base. In addition, he gave me a very competitive price on a standard 3" driveway but because of my desire for a stronger driveway also suggested using a 2" binder layer and 2" finish layer of asphalt, and how the pitch of the driveway would be raised to the level of the new ties. I watched how they added more aggregate to the base and rolled it down to a very solid base, and then watched while they added the two layers of asphalt and checked the depth of each layer, which were generous and more than met my requirements. Each layer was compacted with considerable rolling so that each layer was solidly in place. The ties were very neatly installed, as was the new culvert pipe, and I was impressed with the crew's attention to detail. They came back later to add new topsoil to dress the sides of the culvert around the pipe.The owner, Hector Hernandez, and Frank were both present for the entire job and would periodically check with me and ask for my observations. I think having the owner on site is a big plus. They were eager to see that I was satisfied with all the work, and demonstrated a desire to please which is not often found in many contractors. They were careful with post-job cleanup and I noticed that they power brushed the street where the extra gravel and culvert debris had been piled, and then used a blower on the street. This is starting to sound like a commercial for them, but I can highly recommend this paving firm. I am very pleased with the job, and am not one who is easily satisfied. I think this is the kind of asphalt firm on which you could rely to do a quality job even without necessarily being present. Thanks to Angie's List for the lead.

Dealing with Frank was very easy - the initial request for quote was done through the company website with the information I submitted - a professional estimate was emailed to me in a timely matter for my review - after gathering several bids I called Frank and asked if he could supply some referrals in the area that I could take a look at, no problem supplying addresses of previous work sites after that I set up an appointment to actually meet and discuss the project in person - Frank was very helpful with any questions I had and was able to address any concerns about the project I had - work was started on time and completed as agreed. The job was finished today and I was very pleased thus far.

I tried to get this guy out to the house twice for an estimate on driveway replacement. Said he would be there, but never showed up twice.

Overall, the service went well and I referred them to others.

I collected several estimates and they were all pretty much within $100 of each other. I selected International because their proposal was very well written and included photos illustrating a complete understanding of the work I wanted done. In addition, the owner had straight forward answers for my questions, and was easy to reach via phone & email. The owner was dilligent about talking with the Building Dept in my community too, and the work was done just as promised. The appearance of the drive is quite good, the tamped edges look great, and the sand back bill finished the project beautifully.
