Description of Work: Brain is truly a jack-of-all-trades, in many regards. This time he replaced our sliding glass door in the family room for us. This involved his finding us an excellent door unit with all the features you couild want. And then of course the installation of the door and the painting involved in in making the whole job look perfect on the inside and the outside. He's a terrific worker. A real pro. I have seen what he did for one of my friends in remodeling his basement and he did a wonderful job for him on that, too.

Description of Work: Brain replaced about a quarter of our roof for us after we had sprung a leak associated from an ice damning problem which had developed over the last two winters and that then ultimately began to drip water from the Master Bathroom ceiling this last Fall whenever it would rain. He removed the old shingles from that area, replaced the rotten plywood along with any other damaged support structure, installed ice shields, installed a new skylight for the Guest Bathroom (which was adjacent to the same area) and then recovered the roof with new shingles. Then, he remodeled the Master Bathroom by replacing the upper half of the drywall on the outer wall and about three quarters of the ceiling plus the area around the shower. He replaced the insulation in the walls and ceiling where it was needed after he applied bleach to destroy any possible mold. He then plastered and sanded everything down. He replaced any of the wooden molding that he had distrubed with new molding. He installed a fan in the bathroom ceiling with the proper exhaust duct work and installed new electrical wiring and the switching related to it. He then finished the job by painting the bathroom in the original colors so that it looked like we'd never ever had a problem. Only to be honest, it looked better than that, it looked greatly improved! He finished up by adding some wooden molding around the inside of the new skylight in our Guest Bathroom. All of this took about a 6 visits over a period of about a week and a half. We weren't his only clients during this time but we never felt neglected. Brian was a complete man of his word and delivered everything he'd said he would. He's a treasure. There is no hesitation in recommending Brian. His prices are very fair and his work is exceptional in every way. He's great to be around and a man of integrity.
