It was good. They were on time and friendly.

They did a good job with the work. They provided an estimate and took the time to explain the work needed to complete the job. The estimate provided good detail. Work was scheduled promptly. When the crew arrived they explained their work and were careful to not make a mess in the living ares. They completed all work satisfactorily and cleaned up after the work was done.

Arrived as scheduled. Worked dilgently. Patched access holes in garage ceiling and left the areas clean both in the house and in the garage.

These guys are very professional. Steve is a very good sales guy that knows his stuff. The workers were really pleasant to deal with.

All Comfort Insulation they did some work for me they put in insulation in the attic and also in the basement they did a great job, they provided information on what kind of insulation to use and why to use it, they also kept me informed on what they were doing. I was pleased with their work and their professionalism, I would recommend them.

The estimator, Steve, was on time and very thorough and gave a price on the spot. The appointment was confirmed tow days beforehand. The crew arrived slightly ahead of the scheduled time and went right to the task at hand. They actually completed the job in less time than expected and cleaned up after themselves. We had no issues with them at all.

They did an excellent job! They worked with me on times. The workers cleaned up everything and were very knowledgeable.

Good guys. Were a little bit more than the spray foam guys but did a very thorough job as this way is more labor intensive so it justifed the price. Estimator was very honest and wasn't pushy and didn't need to be as I saw that they had good ratings on Angies list. When I called in the estimate they responded quickly and when I called in the job they were quick. Workman showed up in time and did great work. Very friendly, clean and spent about 4 hours on the house. Cleaned up and left the place spotless. Would use them again but this insulation job should last 20-30 years. Can already tell the difference and the furnace is working about 20% less then before.

They did a great job and I would recommend them. They were reasonable. They showed up on time and they called. As far as managing the whole thing, they did a great job. I am a former project manager and I liked the way they called ahead of time to let me know when they were going to be here. Everything about them was professional. They actually came early and it was too early, so I had to have them come back. I would definitely use them again and I was very pleased with the work they did.

They messed up my house tremendously by drilling holes through the wall; the house was twice as cold as it was before they did the work. I had the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau on them for about 3 years. They made the job even worse than it was before I called them. I will not use them again in the future.

He is pretty straight forward. There wasn’t much options, just told us what he was going to do and gave the estimate. I probably will not use him; infact will be looking for more options. I still haven’t got much information and I have another friend he was giving more details and options.

Steve came out quickly to give me an estimate for the work. He was very clear and knowledgeable about the whole process. When the workers came to actually install the new insulation, they were very professional and tidy. They explained everything they were doing, and even though some of their equipment was temporarily broken, they managed to finish the job in under three hours. Our house is already much warmer this winter. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Based on favorable AL ratings, I called for an estimate on evaulating our attic for proper insulation. Steve arrived on time and was very thorough in his analysis of our square footage, our air flow & vents, and what we could do to improve the comfort in our home. Their estimate was very comparable to others received, but his knowledge and personal service gave them the benefit. We set an appointment for the following week, and the 2-member team arrived early. They first sealed our 2nd floor furnace ceiling, in a closet attached to our master bedroom. It should've been done long ago, to no longer allow hot air from the attic to bleed into our living space (and cold air in the winter). They then added blown-in insulation to the entire attic space, bringing our R25 value to R49 (code is R38). They showed me their work when complete, explained what they'd done, and left the area completely clean. We noticed a difference in temperature within 30 minutes, and have noticed our system running much less now (our master bedroom was always 5degrees hotter in summer, cooler in winter - that is no longer the case). Just wish we would've done this work years ago. Well worth it, and a great company too. Highly recommend.

He just seemed highly knowledgeable about different kinds of insulation. He was very professional. It was a good experience overall.

I dont know how they did it but the word persistence comes to mind. Steve and his crew were very quick, clean and professional in the task at hand. I recommend them to anyone needing insulation work. We have 2 unique attic spaces in our cape cod and Steve was the one we felt most comfortable with after interviewing 3 other insulation companies. He was the most informative and after explaining how he was going to fix our ventilation and insulation issues his description made the most cense to us. Already our upstairs temperature is much closer to our downstairs temperature.

Overall the job was performed on time within agreed upon estimate. Excellent job.

I received estimates from numerous companies to get this job done. The main issue I came across was that I needed insulation and ventilation. It was difficult to find insulation companies that were willing to do ventilation. The roofing companies were all willing to do both, but their insulation prices were astronomical and they all tried to oversell me on ventilation. Steve seemed to be the only person I talked to who knew anything about proper attic ventilation. He had a chart listing the square footage, amount of intake necessary, and amount of outflow necessary. Shouldn't every company have that? Whereas some roofers wanted to put in as many as twelve eave vents and six roof vents, Steve told me that I only needed three eave vents and one roof vent. That made the cost much more reasonable and really made me trust this company. I am confident that this company did a great job and I will see the difference in my heating bills and in less ice formation in my gutters for years to come.

All Comfort installed insulation in our attic. I had received another estimate for Eco-Tec for a different type of product, which I really liked, but the cost was twice as high as All Comfort with more standard insulation. Also, Steve, the owner of the company for All Comfort was the one who gave us the estimate and he really knew what he was talking about. On the day of our installation, my wife was not feelign well but the crew was already on their way - from ADDISON to Evanston. I explained that my wife would not be served well by having workers in the house, and they were totaly fine with that. They did a few things outside that they needed to do, and then came back the following week to finish the job - at no extra cost even though we had them come out twice. A pleasure doing business with them, and our upstairs is sooo much warmer now!

All Comfort's price was $2,720—some $900 over that of a competitive insulation company with a similar product. But then, they contemplated doing more work in terms of removing old insulation. And while $900 is a lot of money for us, we thought it might well have been the way to go. The third company we called, however, did a blower door test, which revealed air leaks and drafts galore. Ultimately, we decided we would be better off spending our money to seal the air leaks first, and then add insulation if that turns out to be insufficient. We may yet use All Comfort to add insulation to our walls, but not until we get the many air leaks sealed. Incidentally, the amount we will spend getting the air leaks sealed is almost identical to the amount All Comfort wanted to charge us.

It was definitely a noticeable difference this winter. I was so grateful that we could have done so much outside work on the house because it paid this winter. We had to replace our roof. I don’t think the other one would have held up all the snow. He was a very good guy. I liked him. He explained everything. He is very easy to talk to. He and the guy he worked with were good. They made sure everything was done and it was cleaned up well. We had no complaints about them. He actually referred us to a guy that would work out better in our crawlspaces in the attic. They do a different kind of foam insulation, and he thought that would be better in the attic crawlspace. He was very helpful and also that turned out to be really good. I would recommend them to friends and family. I have no complaints about them at all. Their price was very reasonable.

All comfort was prompt, thorough and very clean. They were also the least expensive and were upfront with me right from the quote phase that they were unlikely to be able to add insulation in a different area of the house. This turned out to be true. I would absolutely recommend them.

The two workmen were on time (even a little early), went right to work and cleaned up well after themselves. Can't say enough how happy we are with the work. We have already noticed that the house seems less drafty and temps. are more consistent from room to room. We are hopeful that along with some gutter work we are planning to have done, that we have taken a huge step forward in interior comfort, summer and winter, and will have much less ice damming next year. We were both very pleased with this company and their employees and recommend them to all. Also, Steve, the owner, read my initial assessment here on Angie's and called to make sure that I understood the situation with ice dams. We had an informative conversation and I appreciated the extra effort.
