Description of Work: I contacted Al's Accurate Electric Inc. for an estimate on installing an electrical line for a new above ground pool. Al set up a date and time to come out. On the day of the appointment he called and said he was sick and could not make it (understandable) and if we could reschedule the appointment 2 days later, which we did. On the day of the new appointment Al never showed up or called to advise that he was not coming.

Description of Work: I got Al's name from my sister who had him do some work at her house; she was pleased with the results and so when I needed someone to install a ceiling fan, she recommended him to me. The price he quoted was better than the price I got from several other companies so I decided to go with him. He was prompt, professional and courteous. Once he was done installing the ceiling fan, I had him look at a couple of other issues we wanted to take care of. He gave me a quote for those services and I will be contacting him when we want those services done.

Description of Work: This was the most recent time using Al's Accurate for my electrical needs. He has done many jobs for me in the past. He was my electrical contractor of choice when I owned an interior remodeling company. I quickly learned the first time using him, that Al knew all there needed to be known about residential & commercial electrical work. "Accurate" couldn't be a more perfect word to describe his work. I always knew that the job would get done correctly. He would often fix botched jobs done by previous electricians. This is a big concern especially when dealing with something that could potentially cause major problems. Any of my work that needed permits all passed electrical inspection with no problem. This most recent job, I had Al come out and look over a problem at my mother's house. The electricity kept going out in certain sections of the house, especially when the A/C kicked on. Al came over promptly, and knew the problem within a minute of opening the breaker panel. The house was built using a very cheap breaker panel, and poor breakers. The panel need an update. Al replaced the panel and all the breakers, and fixed all the unbalanced loads that were on the original configuration. He then also noticed a major problem with the lines going to the A/C condenser. Whoever installed the A/C took shortcuts and didn't follow code. Al fixed that problem for us as well. He did everything in a timely manner, and we haven't any problems since. Note: I was extremely surprised to see the review that gave Al's Accurate a very poor rating. I don't know what transpired on the job in question, but I can attest to the fact that I have never witnessed any of those actions on any of my work done by Al. Over the last 8 years, I have used Al more than a dozen times, and I have recommended him to everyone who needs electrical work. Al shows up on time, is very clean, and considerate of the surroundings. When it comes to electrical work you want someone who does quality work and knows what they are doing. Al might or might not be the cheapest quote you get, but rest assured, the work will be top notch.

Description of Work: We've had Al out on 2 separate occasions, for very different jobs.The first time, he installed wiring for our hot tub.The second, he replaced multiple lighting fixtures.

Description of Work: Wow! Let me start of saying that I myself, am a business owner and I know the gimics to sell service. I have never delt with someone more condecending as Al (owner of company). I called and requested an inspection and was told the price ahead of time and scheduled an appointment with Al. Not only did he arrive a whole hour before said time which was extremely early than what I anticipated getting up at. He was extremely loud and carried himself with very banners. Iasked him several times to keep it low, since most people in the building were still sleeping and that request went unheard. He was to comftable to my comfort around my own house. he felt free to open and shut rooms he had no business being in. At the end of the service vist, I could tell he was not an honest man and he was going to try and pull as many over me as he could possibly get away with. As soon as he realized i was onto him, he responded in a defensive manner as if he was the victom and i was totally off my rocker for not understanding his recommendations and ridiculous prices to fix problems he came across. We had some what of a petty disagreement in which i could no longer tolerate this man in my presence, none the less my own house. He was as rude as ever and you can definately tell all he cares about is the money and not the satisfaction of his customer. I would definately never recommend this poor excuse of a provider to anyone. (I apologize for any misspelling and or bad grammer use, i tried to post my review before the end of the night.)

Description of Work: Three Ceiling fans, attic exhaust fan, 3 bathroom exhaust fans, recessed lighting new switches and controls in bathrooms, 3 new outdoor lights on front door and garage, outdoor motion light on patio, new wiring in garage for extra outlets, repaired attic lighting and made suggestions for installing new yard lighting this fall.

Description of Work: For this job, Al rewired a circuit to put up outside lights; moved the switch from an outside wall (in an attached garage) to an inside wall for easier access. In the past he replaced my main circuit box, replaced 220 outlet and added an outlet in my utility room; replaced an overhead light fixture that was shorting out ($2400). I also have him scheduled add grounded outlets and an overhead light to a room that I am remodeling ($805).
