Description of Work: We bought new siding from them. Their price was better than Lowe's on the exact same product, and their service was outstanding! However, after the sale, the salesman that was helping us kinda flaked out when we needed to return something. We couldn't get our questions answered until it was after the return period. Now we are left trying to sell the unneeded product on our own to recoup the costs. So, if you need to return something, take it in there yourself, no matter how big or difficult it is. It may be the only way to get your money back.

+ -1 moreThey were all so nice and willing to help. They came to measure the same day we came into the store. Gary, the flooring guy, was so easy to work with and kept us updated on our order. He even delivered the tile to our house as soon as it came in!
Description of Work: We bought our flooring for the kitchen and living room from them.

+ -1 moreWe were wanting to do the backsplash in our kitchen and one of our friends suggested Franklin's. We went to the store and started to look around,it took at least 15 minutes before an associate asked if they could help us. We explained what we were looking for and were told he didn't do that but would find someone who did. As it was someone who was helping another customer that meant we waited again. Finally Steve came over to help us. He was very knowledgeable and a very big help. We decided what we wanted and price was figured. We said okay, order what we need. They told us that it would be there in about 7-10 days. Great! We paid the total bill up front and from there it went to pot. After 2 weeks we contacted them (they were suppose to call us), no we don't see any thing here like that. My husband then went out to the store and after some checking it turned out it had not even been ordered. So again it was ordered. Then we got the word that a part was on backorder for at least 2 weeks. Okay we are now into the last of Sept. and still no call that our product was in. Finally it came and we went to get it and some of it wasn't ordered again. This was really getting old. As we started wirking we realized we had forgotten to ordered enough finishing pieces so back to Franklins, ordered pieces and we were told it would be here by Tuesday, this was the Wednesday before, well today is Saturday the 17th of November and we still haven't been called to let us know our product is in. The impression we got and in talking to some other customers we all have the same thought that once the deal is made and money is paid they could care less about you.They could not even be bothered to answer a couple of questions we had. We will not be going back to them any time in the near future.

My husband and I are retired school teachers and we knew our kitchen needed a complete work and we had to take the bar out and get in a lot of new cupboards and we didn't have enough space. They started with plans and it did fit right with what we wanted and when it was finished it was beautiful and we were very happy with it. It was a great price and we were very pleased. They were excellent. They got contractors for me and drew all our plans and they do what we wanted and that's what they did.
Description of Work: I used Franklin Building Supply to redo our kitchen.

Description of Work: We recently had an issue with another company in the magic valley where we had purchased carpeting, padding and installation. We ended up going to Franklins and purchased the carpeting, padding and installation for half of what the other company had charged. We purchased the exact same type carpeting, commercial grade and had it installed. Because of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and the issues we had with the first place, we purchased we were in a terrible mess just prior to the holiday. With lots of family coming in for the holiday, we were in a squeeze to get the job done as quickly as possible and they accommodated us and had the carpet installed on a SUNDAY. We paid extra for this service and the total bill we still only about half of the price of the first business we dealt with. The person who laid the carpeting was a truly professional carpet layer and did the job by himself and was done within 6 hours. I would highly recommend these people in the future...
