 + -1 moreI am very pleased with the work the electrician did. I interviewed several before selecting Tim. He was the best communicator of the ones I talked to. He performed as expected or better. He called me daily with up dates and questions and suggestions to help hold costs down. I have done several of these projects in the past and Tims work and professionalism stand out - he's good and he delivers what he says he's going to do. I recommend Tim Brown of Summit Electric highly. I see we can post pictures now so I'll try to get some after pictures up to go along with the before pictures.
Description of Work: Tim Brown - Summit Electric spent almost a week and a half correcting bad wiring and installing new service for me on an old house that had knob and tube wiring and a variety of romax types of wiring. The house was built in 1938 and had been remodeled by amateurs several times. The wiring was in really bad shape and was substandard or unsafe. I opened up several walls and part of the ceiling to facilitate access and installed a Heap pump with central air to replace an oil furnace along with relocating a laundry and adding vent fans. All of the electrical upgrades and new installation was done on a time a materials basis because the amount of work couldn't be accurately estimated. Numerous open splices and non code issues were encountered and resolved. Now the entire house meets code. All work was coordinate with the plumber, HVAC installer and the carpenter who were all on site at the same time. I was not on site through most of the job. It came out great.

 + -1 moreThey do what they say they are going to do and they do it when they say they will. They do the work with a cheerful attitude and they are excellent to work with. Of all the sub-contractors that we used in building our home they were the best that we dealt with. They were also very reasonably priced in comparison with other estimates. They stuck to the estimate with no hidden or surprise costs. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend!
Description of Work: They did electrical and some other building for us. They wired our entire home, new construction, also electrical repairs.

 + -1 moreTim was very punctual and efficient, as well he informed us of different approaches that we had not thought of in determining the layout for future expansions and building. He is very personable, tidy, fair priced, professional and his quality of work is the best!

 + -1 moreAfter a very frustrating couple of months of trying to wire our house, we called Tim Brown to get the job done. Tim was fantastic. He understood the time crunch that we were under. He worked many long hours for us. He listened to all of our questions and concerns. His work was great. We passed the rough-in and final inspections the first time. We really appreciate Tim. I would highly recommend Summit Electric and Tim Brown for any electrical needs.
