A follow up to these guys installing their "water softening" system: the system goes thru a purging or refreshing cycle and it does this often adding a water load to my septic. It's affect is I have to pump out twice a year instead of every 3or4 prior to the install. Pretty costly of an upgrade (I independently verified after the fact, unfortunately, by testing water directly from the well) and was not needed. Their scary "my pipes are going to corrode due to higher ph" was just garbage. I should have got the independent test before approving the work and shouldn't have trusted them. Hope this helps others anyways

They will rip you off and the owner was foul mouth. We have a septic tank and they were supposed to show up with a camera and they did not. They charged us for that. They returned with a camera and charge us again.

Very professional, excellent service.

They did not tell us they no longer charge by the hour. We told them we needed to clean out the pipe from the house to the septic tank, at twenty five feet. They got here without a camera on the equipment, said they needed to return with one. Again never telling us they didn't charge by the hour. We asked the Plummer, why didn't you bring the snake with the camera, he told us it was out on another truck. So he put his snake down the pipe and it stopped at a point he was not comfortable with, so again we asked why didn't you come with a snake with a camera, same answer it was on another job. He left, and retuned two days later, he put the camera down and found a tree had clogged the pipe due to a tear in the pipe when we put the tree in. When he was here we asked if he would replace a flapper in the toilet, it only lasted 40 days and failed. They wanted to dig out the dirt and replace the pipe, we might have considered until we got the bill of $769.00 for a hour job. If they would have brought the proper equipment the first time, they would not have had to come back. Even at that the total time they were on the job was Two hours. When you consider an hour drive time from there to us that is a total of three hours. At a !00.00 an hour, 300.00 would have been fair. But $769.00 is outrageous ! My husband dug the sand around the pipe himself and hired a different plumber from Sandpoint at a total of $80.00. We found that the Three Amigos are deceptive, and will over charge you. We found them to be rude when we challenged the bill. We are so happy with our new plumber, we have recommended him for all of our neighbors and friends. Please always ask up front what they will charge. This company will cost you way to much, and fail to communicate the truth. What I will say is the specialist they sent was a good Man, I find it is the company that lacks up front honesty.

I'm a restaurant owner, and I had just recently opened. During the open/remodel process, I used a referral from an in law. (I did use Three Amigos for a drain install, see below*) This individual did all the plumbing in my kitchen. 1 month later I came to find that my entire kitchen had flooded and that my ice machine was the cause. The ice machine was plumbed with flexible hosing and was holding all the water pressure with a freakin hose clamp! Unbelievable. I brought back Three Amigos after my first experience with them was so pleasant. They showed up right away, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They hard plumbed the ice machine (which should have been done the first time). Hasn't leaked since and I have been able to sleep knowing it wont flood my restaurant again. *I first used Three amigos during my restaurant remodel in May 2011. I needed some floor drains moved to better suite my restaurants needs. They showed up on time, did the work nicely and I have been pleased with the craftsmanship almost a year later. I would strongly recommend Three Amigos. They are prompt, professional and knowledgeable of their craft. There is no other plumbing service in the Northwest that I would use other than Three Amigos. I did read the poorer review of them and being in a service industry myself, I know how miserable people can be (The people that b*tch and complain about anything, just because they are miserable themselves). And being in this industry I have compassion for companies (and fellow restaurants) that are subject to these hyper critical and bull sh*t reviews. All I know about this company has been absolutely positive and I would recommend their services.

I couldn't get my regular plumber so I chose to use them. I pretty much disliked them. They sent out people who were unprepared. They didn't have really basic, simple parts like toilet bowl parts and we were charged for his transportation back to town to get parts that no service truck should have been without. I would not use them again.

When we remodled our first home we added a refridgerator that needed a water intake for the ice maker. We called a local plumber - in Hope - to avoid milage charges. That line began leaking that evening. I called the plumber at 6pm - he was too drunk to help! I called 3 Amigos right away. They instructed me how to shut off just that line so we could wait until regular hours for repair. They were on our doorstep first thing the next morning and had the line replaced within the hour. They saved us a bundle on after-hour charges and water damage to our home. I've never called anyone else since!! They've replaced a hot water hearter, cleaned lines, and replaced outdoor faucets as well. Always prompt, clean, polite, and reasonable in price. We won't use anyone else.
