Insight restoration

Had a plumbing leak and insurance claim. Insight restoration was contracted to correct the leak and install new bathtub. It turns out the bathtub was never caulked and has been leaking ever since the install. This has cause water damage in the bathroom, storage room in the garage, bathroom below this, and standing water in the crawl space. This is what ha been observed with out tearing into. Insight is un willing to correct the issue without payment up front. What?! I already paid them top dollar for the repair and I am just asking them to correct their mistake. I have had two plumbers and several others inspect the tub and have all verified that is was never caulked to begin with. Insight sent a plumber out to caulk one side of the tub and it just caused water to run around the sides down the wall and on to the floor causing a separate issue. All I want is for the issue to be corrected and any water damage mitigated. Insight continues to not accept responsibility and is causing huge stress and lack of sleep. I have attempted several times to communicate with them to correct the issue, and they refuse to do anything without payment. Along with the leak, the electrical was never hooked up correctly for the spa tub. Everytime it was used it would short out. This was communicated right away and they said I just need to reset it every time it shorts out. I also pointed out when it was being installed the wrong drywall was used in the bathroom. I am not sure if that is part of the problem. But it was not green board that is rated for a bathroom. I asked for a specific wall to be insulated for noise reasons. After all the work was completed, found out that wall was never insulated. They had their handyman doing painting and drywall work. A lot of the work had to be redone, since it was such poor quality. To remodel 1 and half bathrooms, it took 6 months!!! Not to mention the price that was charged for this work! It was crazy how high the prices they charge are. The communication about the pricing was horrible. Huge surprise at the final price all the things they added in and the rates they charge. If you want poor quality work at a very high price with no one standing behind their quality, give them a call. If you want something done right the first time, I would choose another option.
