Take my advice… don’t waste your time talking to these clowns. They are not professional, they are not “technicians”, they are not specialists… they are looking to rip off the next person and SCAM SCAM SCAM. Currently sewing you for everything plus more. Get these guys out of town. Call rotor router instead.

Terrible: First appointment canceled 2 hours before schedule. 2nd appointment 2hours late. Estimated cost to simple install faucet $1175! Get cost estimate before scheduling a visit as they will charge minimum minimum $39, even if you you weren’t given a preliminary estimate and you refuse their cost estimate. BUYER BEWARE!

Wow. This business is there to rip people off! We had an issue with our AC unit. Something small. They came out quickly and said we had to replace the whole system, and the quote was $14,000 for their bare bones unit and system with no bells and whistles. $14,000!!!!!! The minute I said we were going to get quotes from others before deciding, he quickly got up and left. We ended up having a guy come out and fix our problem for only $150. It now runs just fine. Do not trust this company. They just want your money. They probably try and trick people into paying such a high amount before they get a chance to get multiple quotes. Horrible company.

For $900 this company replaced the wax seal on my toilet, replaced the flange and shored up the floor boards underneath because the old wood was not very strong and the sub flooring needed to be replaced. I have since replaced the sub floor and installed tile. That part of the job was satisfactory. At the same visit I had the technician investigate a moldy smell I thought may be coming from the cabinets between the dishwasher and the sink (might have a pin hole in the hose?) He told me he would need to use hazmat policies and plastic off that portion of the kitchen. He also said he would need to remove the cabinet base between the dishwasher and the sink to check for water. His estimate for that was another $900. The next day, he determined my sprayer hose attachment leaked when put into the holster after drilling a hole in the cabinet base between the dishwasher and the sink and finding no moisture. He tightened the fittings beneath the sink and cleaned up the opening I had cut into the base beneath the sink to do some investigating on my own earlier. He did not adjust the bill for the hazmat he did not need or the cabinets base removal. For 6 weeks, now I have waited for my bill to be adjusted, and am still getting the run around. DO NOT USE ADVANCED PLUMBING out of Rigby. This is the second time I have used them and learned I was over charged. I guess some old people never learn.

person said the hydrant wasn't fixable, said they could cap it off and pull in a new water source. said they would replace the hydrant for $3000.00 plus , so I looked at the problem and with a simple adjustment to the hydrant handle which affects travel of the rod was able to stop the leak, took me about 10 minutes.

I'm giving this company one star because the men who came were courteous. Other than that, the company is way overpriced. They sent someone to find the septic tank, who determined that it was plugged and needed drained. He charged me $148. I immediately paid him. Then they sent the big guns, who dug down to the actual tank. They determined (simply because the tank was not draining though they did not use high pressure to flush out into leach field) that I needed a new leach field. They had me open a Wells Fargo line of Credit for $11,000, which immediately brought my credit score down a couple of points. They left for the weekend and wanted to continue the work on Mon. in the meantime, I called around to get other estimates and talked to the District Seven County Health Commissioner, who informed me that I had to have a special $500. license to even work with a leach field. I finally hired another company who used high pressure to flush a small plugged area out of a pipe leading to the leach field. They also installed a riser, and filled back in the dirt. They charged me only $400.00 for that work. Advanced Plumbing, however, sent me a bill for $2125. and fought me on itemizing the bill, so I could at least see what they were charging me for. In the end, I paid them $600 for draining the septic tank and $700 for digging down to the lid. Very expensive company. Yes, they look professional, and the accountant I worked with was courteous and professional in trying to help me get fairness out of this company, but be very careful if you use them (though I doubt they'll even publish this review). Not happy. Sorry I ever called them.

Cost about 4 times what it should have been. After the work the when the garbage disposal was used it would back up. Called them. they said feed it more slowly. a week later it backed up again. Got another plumber he said the angle if the drain pipe was wrong and that is why it was backing up. he fixed the problem in a few minutes. Paid $2000 for a job that should have been around $400. Said we got the best faucet and disposal. Checked it out with a supply shop and the cost of the faucet was $90 and disposal $125. they also did not give any itemized bill breaking down material and labor.

they over charged me 500.00 dollars every on else in this area charged only 200.00 to 350.00

Besides the cost is three times more than anyone else for services. I can say this they will be hearing from our lawyer!!

After two days of waiting for them to show up, he showed up on the third day. After banging on things, he said that the disposal was "toast" and he could repair it with a range of costs from 450.00 with no guarantee or 890.00 for a whole new disposal. I will never use this company again. The guy even managed to slap a big sticker on my downstairs furnace to call them to "Fix" my heating system if I needed work done. I must say, I took great delight is taking out my frustrations on the overcharge and dishonesty of this company when I scrubbed the unwanted Advanced Plumbing (now does heating off my furnace)!

Kept trying to get me to replace sewer line for $9000.00. I was out of work at the time and couldn't pay that. Tried to make me feel guilty for just getting the line snaked. They would have replaced without digging the lawn. I found someone to dig it for $2000.00 and there is no dip or bump in the lawn. I just needed to reseed.

In the original construction they broke the jetted tub, installed the bathroom vent so it smells like sewage outside, and left bellies in the drain from the kitchen sink to the main drain. When contacted they put me off until they could say, It's out of warranty and there is nothing we can do about it. When I found out about the bellies in the drain line the owner refused to take my calls.

The technician was on time. The first thing was to determine where the leak was and that took 5 min, as I had to turn the water on. Then he consulted his pricing book and he explained that he would have to dig and cut the hose to the sprinklers and redo the manifold and install the new valve. That charge was a whopping $1200.00. I was floored. I asked him why he could not just remove the valve's by unscrewing them and then put on new one's. He said that he could do that and he had then replacements in the truck. I had not removed the valves before but am quite savvy with repairs etc, and I wanted to watch him do the repair so I could then do repairs and replacements in the future so he quoted me $270.00. I had him go ahead and do the job. Watching all the time he took less than 30 minute's from start to finish. the system worked and I paid. My issue is that he should have been honest and upfront and offered to do the job at the least cost to the customer. He only wanted to completely replumb the entire manifold which was in good working order and not leaking. Manifolds do not leak unless they have been damaged. The manifold is in a box in the ground and only the valve leaked. the valve is the only place a leak could happen. The technician knew that I was upset that he did not even suggest the least expensive repair and allow a choice, he just quoted the largest and was ready to leave until I questioned him on the other way to do the repair. The charge of $270.00 was completely out of order and I just paid rather than make an issue with him. The charge plus parts should have in my estimation not been over $75.00 and that is a conservative guess. This company advertizes big time in our area and in the phone book. . CAUTION BE ADVISED AND GET ANOTHER BID BEFORE USING ADVANCED PLUMBING AND ROUTER SERVICES.

I called based on a radio ad. Was told that it would be $100 to clean out line. Tech arrived on time. He said main line was good but bath sink wasn't draining because old pipes fill with sludge overtime. It would cost $200 to clean (double $ than for main line & should have put up a red flag) but this might not solve prob. Quoted $500 to replace pipe. I opted to replace and he finished in an hour. That's when I realized I just paid $500 an hour for a small section of pipe. I accept that I was stupid to agree to that. Secondly he plastered my waterheater with stickers and tied ads to all my pipes. (No--they won't get my $ again.) I learned later that I could have had same repair done by smaller company for 1/2 the cost. I didn't do my research but they must not care about repeat customers. I have no complaints about the quality. On price-they took advantage of my lack of knowledge. If they hadn't, I would trust them. Now I warn everyone to not learn an expensive lesson as I did.

I'm a retired lady on a fixed income and with the government taking everything I have then you deal with a company like this that takes from the elderly and it's not fair. I thought since the advertisement on TV and he had his son with him I thought he was honest but I learned differently when I was taken for a very larger sum of the work that only took 5 minutes.

The plumber arrived as arranged with good notice of his approach. He looked it over and said what i really needed was a complete copper tubing replacement from the top of the foundation plate, down the garage outside wall, and then over to the outside faucet. $500 for replaced copper tubing, $700 to use freeze proof plastic. I said no, just fix the split in the tubing. He solder in a 10" piece of copper tubing and missed a small leak about 4" away, likely caused by the soldering heat he put on the insert piece. The original bid for the entire tubing replacement was, as noted, $500 and would have taken 2-3 hours and used 9 feet of tubing and three soldered joints. He was at my house a total of 1 hours and 20 minutes. It used 10" of repair pipe. He then charged me $506.00. He said the original bid was an estimate and it was to replace or simply repair. These people are simply thieves that get you because your water is off and you really want it back. Thieves of the worst sort.

We felt a little pressured to make a decision regarding one of the options the presented to us, but we insisted that we'd get a second opinion. Glad we did! My husband even did some of the work with the other guy which saved a lot of money.

Price was $400 to walk thru the door. They fixed a cracked outdoor faucet that hat was leaking. With the temperature below zero a small glacier was slowly creaping up the side of the house & dripping into the newly finished basement. The plumber knew what he was doing but spent over an hour just talking. Apparently the business was having a slow day or he wanted to make me feel like he had stayed long enough to make the outrageous bill more tolerable. I will call a different company next time I have a water issue.

Serviceman arrived on time, and was able to fix the toilet (which we had purchased from them about 4 years ago), and also install a new and much needed kitchen faucet. We are very satisfied with the work that was done.

I called Advanced Plumbing & Rooter to replace the anti-siphon valve of my sprinkler system. Having previously replaced the valve myself, I was well aware of the cost and time involved. The Advanced serviceman presented me with an estimate of over $1,000 for what was a $250 job! He told me that my system needed a bunch of work that it did not. I told the serviceman that evidently his company is used to preying on stupid consumers who have no idea what work should cost. I told him to leave. I have discovered that the company is well-known as a rip-off artist.

He kept telling me it was a mess and needed more work, first it as $550 then it needed more so he changed out more.

Their prices were high. We would use them again. We didn't like that they took something off in the basement but they were pretty good.

They ended up telling me I needed all kinds of extra things and romancing me into thinking that I needed work which I really didn't. I really felt that they were taking advantage of me. They told me I needed a new water heater and I could get a new one that afternoon. I declined. After I he left I went downstairs and found that he had stuck coupons for his company all over my basement. How unprofessional! I would never recommend them to others.
