Enviro Seal was contracted to insulate my house as it was constructed new. They arrived on time and were polite and seemed attentive. They seemed to be on a tight schedule and didn't take the time required to do things right the first time. The hose used to spray the instulation originate from a large truck and was routed into the house via my vinyl and wood sliding glass doors. The hose had an abrasive covering and damaged both the vinyl frame and the wood on the door from being pulled across it and acting like a cylindrical file or sander. They did a sloppy job of covering and protecting exposed glue-laminated architectural beams in my ceilings. The excessive amount of overspray resulted in over 100 hours of labor to remove the oversprayed foam with a paint scraper, belt sander and palm sander. Always working overhead, most of the time standing on scaffolding, which had to be rented. The highest beam at the peak of the ceiling is at 23 feet. Overspray was also on most windows both inside and outside, some as high as 23 feet making removal painstaking. Everything not removed from the house, including ladders and a shop vac were hit with overspray. Enviro Seal was called back to the house twice after the job to re-spray areas that were missed or thinly covered. There is still an area of about 3'x 8' area under the floor of my second floor loft that has no insulation sprayed into the floor joists. This area overhangs above my front porch and winter temperatures of my loft floor in that area are near freezing. There are also 3 areas in the house (which has a pine tongue and groove ceiling) where a wind can be felt where the wall meets the ceiling. In the winter, the cold air that enters the house in these areas produces frost on the walls and as it melts, it drips to the floor. (one of those locations is over my bed in the master bedroom). They said they would spray under the stairs to reduce the sound created by people walking up and down the stairs. They did not.
