Description of Work: We had them build a rock retaining wall which included excavation, cutting down trees and placing rocks. They were very professional, offered advice and were reasonably priced.

+ -1 moreThe demolition went quickly and we had no inclination of the trouble to come. The foundation excavation was done as well as hauling off all our top soil that was supposed to stay for the back fill. We even got charged for them to haul it off and a dumping fee. When the foundation was poured they REFUSED to bring in the drain rock. After speaking with other excavators and hearing about their reputation for blocking job sites we could not get anyone else to do the work. Now we were stuck so after more negotiating they finally brought the drain rock. After meeting on site to explain how we wanted the backfill, rock wall and final landscaping to be done, we got something entirely different and unacceptable. We even got to pay to get our own dirt back! Trees were buried 4 feet up the trunk and we now have an 10 ft bank that will all have to be redone.
Description of Work: Demolition of old cabin, excavation for new foundation, back fill and landscaping.
