Beckstead Trees

His website is very professional in appearance, but his demeanor is anything but. First, I called him, just to see what he would be able to provide in the way of tree removal, as a general idea. I wanted to call several companies and compare. (Another company for tree removal that I had submitted an online form with were oddly non-responsive, so at least he was eager... right?) He was very pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer on an estimate and coming to my home. I did want an estimate and I understood that it makes sense to see the property in person to understand what you are getting into, so eventually I agreed. When he came over, it seemed very hard for him to be professional and refrain from making wildly inappropriate comments. Comments about my physique, my looks (I am female), and what was in the job for him. He made such inappropriate insinuations -- like if it wasn't working for me, maybe I could hook him up with my friend who happened to be present. As I tried to keep him on topic, I did get some information from him about his actual service, but the experience was humiliating, insulting, demeaning, etc. My husband was very upset that I let the guy into our home. He also insulted my garden and my home. His personality is very much an obstacle. As such, I cannot comment on his actual work. I would not recommend him to anyone with self respect.
