We called 208/610-7034 and asked for someone to come to add a new connection to our satellite system because we wanted to add a new TV where there was no outlet. Will Doyle made an appointment with us to come to the house (we live in a rural area where satellite TV is our only option) 3 days later. He looked at what we wanted, made some very practical and useful suggestions and evaluated the whole system--the dishes, the other TVs and satellite boxes. He told us that our entire system was outdated. We were not surprised because it had been a number of years since the last installation. Still, we wondered if he was going to hit us up for a lot more work than we wanted or needed. Will explained everything clearly and gave us a very reasonable estimate. He said he could come the following day with the necessary equipment. We agreed and did some research with the contractor who built our house regarding the best way to drill a hole through a particular wall for the new connection. This wall consisted of straw bales with cement on the inside & outside. The next day Will arrived and evaluated the drilling process. His modification of the suggestiion made by our contractor was exactly right. He drilled the hole neatly with no damage to the wall and installed the new connection. Then he installed a new, updated satellite dish outside in the rain. Next came new satellite boxes for each of our TVs. He discovered that the previous technician had not installed the satellite box correctly in the living room so that we never got HDTV there, which we had asked for and paid for. After all the installations, Will called Dish Network to activate the new equipment. He also had them delete two duplicate packages from our service and negotiated for a free update of our system based on our long history as customers. The net result will be a lower monthly statement--for improved service. Will was at our house more than 4 hours. He was cheerful and resourceful the entire time. When the project was done, the cost was only $80.00. We definitely plan to have Will return--the next time to install some stereo equipment. It was an excellent experience.
