We were able to get the job scheduled within a couple of days of getting a bid. The job start to finish was done in a week, and we were beyond impressed with how professional his crew was. They did there best to protect our grass throughout the whole process which we didn’t expect. When they were all gone, they did a very thorough cleanup of the site.

Our experience with this company was the best we could have asked for. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job very quickly. Their crew was very polite and professional and went out of their way to clean up any mess that was made. The concrete pad that they laid is beautiful and is going to serve our family for years. As in seen in the pictures the concrete was colored with cobalt which is drying to a slightly less dark color, and it looks amazing! The Patio looks great and was done very quickly. I was most impressed when a couple of the guys came back the next day and cleaned up. They even cleaned up a little mess that was not theirs. I fully plan in the future to have them come out and replace my fence as well.

We had called 5 other contractors who never showed or returned calls. When we finally found Mr. Kruger's company, he answered the phone, returned our call promptly and showed up at the appointed time to evaluate our situation and make a bid. Daniel Kruger was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He briefed me of everything our job would require such as: materials, type of concrete, what was best for our situation, and how they were going to do it. I noticed that he mentioned some issues about our patio and particular area might have (regarding heavy snow and drainage) when other contractor's didn't and that's what made me chose him. We live in a hard to reach area out of town with some unique circumstances that he was experienced in dealing with, so I felt confident hiring him. I thought his bid was very reasonable for the quality of work and time frame it was completed. He was able to have his workers start working on our patio that same day. His employees were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of my questions. They showed up on time, came prepared to work and cleaned up everything exactly the way they found it. As far as the concrete, they did a SUPER job on our patio. Our patio was in a hard to reach area, and they had a time getting the concrete back there, but they made it happen. The concrete looks great and I feel they did an exceptional job. They even pushed the gravel back up against the concrete edges for me. I am not sure if they had to do that or not. I am a disabled veteran and have a bad back, so I very much appreciated them finishing that little bit for me. I HIGHLY recommend RockHard Concrete and will definitely use them again. We are hiring them again for two other jobs that we'll need done this year or next. (Road excavation and retaining wall.). We look forward to working with them again.

Provider showed up to give an estimate when he said he would. Showed up the next day to do the work as he promised. Did a professional and excellent job, cleaned up after himself, and followed up the next day to make sure we were satisfied. What a refreshing change from the four other concrete contractors that we contacted earlier who were all no-shows.

Employed this contractor because of Angies List ratings, references and price. Timeliness was hit and miss. After I asked the contractor to postpone the start date by two weeks I gave a deadline (date and time) for people to show up to start the job. They showed up just two minutes before the deadline. Once the job was started they moved along well removing existing concrete and carting it all off to the dump. One problem that arose was the crews inability to clean up their work mess and leave the area as clean as when they began. Two issues here: they had to cut some concrete at the front of the garage and created a tremendous amount of concrete dust in the garage which was never cleaned up; and, secondly they made a mess of the paint job on the house foundation when they tried to wipe the concrete dust off of the foundation. Driveway was done on a Thursday and Friday. The walks were done the following Tuesday. Slopes, drainage, etc. were generally laid out correctly. The exception is the walk from the driveway to the front porch. Rather than being level or slightly running down from the porch to the driveway it rises from the driveway to a hump in the middle then down to the porch step. Additionally the forming on the walk was not as curved as it was to be. The finish brush work leaves a lot to be desired. When asked when the lines would dissipate we were repeatedly told when the concrete fully dries. More than a month later the brush lines are still as visible as when it first began the curing process. The public sidewalk dividing lines were not professionally done -- the lines are not straight, they are wavy. And lastly, when they put down the sealer it not only sealed the concrete surface but sealed in a very large number of visible footprints on most of the driveway. These prints will not go away until the sealer wears off, whenever that might be. With all of these issues the owner of the company did reduce his bill by 10%.

A two man crew worked from about 8:30 to 3:00 on day one. The weather was questionable so the concrete could not be poured that afternoon. The same two men and three others arrived at 6:45 on day two and had the work area completely ready when the concrete arrived as scheduled at 7:30. The concrete was poured, leveled and finished in about 3 hours. It looks great.

Rock hard concrete was professional and the finished product beautiful. A big plus was they were there when they said they would be or called. An A+ for their communication skills; something that seems to be lacking with so many contractors. They were conscience of safety; making sure that areas were secure until they could get to them. We are very pleased with the service and now have a safe and beautiful walkway and stairs.

The job was very well done. Their housekeeping was great. They did what they said they were going to do. They did everything on time. They did excellent work.

All work was completed within a week including getting the work permit and coordinating inspections with the city. There was minimal impact on my next door neighbors or the neighborhood in general. Job site housekeeping at the end of each work day was excellent. Daniel Kruger and his crew were great to work with and did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them for similar work elsewhere!!
