Tree work was excellent, however, a large piece of tree hit my fence causing damage along with my next-door neighbors cement. Numerous calls were made with no results. I expect someone to come inspect damage and see photos.

Called on 3/21/18 requesting grinding of 2 moderate size stumps in back yard. Was told that they would be out within 2 days to take care. On 3/26/18 I again called about having someone come out and was told they would be out the next day. On 3/27/18 they came out and ground 1 stump. I called and was informed that the technician had come back and said he couldn't find the other stump, which was sitting no more than 30 feet away, completely unobstructed. I was told they would be out the next day to grind the other stump. On 3/28/18 the second stump was finally ground. The fact that I had to make multiple calls about the same issue and either the incompetence or just plain laziness of the technician ensured that I will never contact this company ever again.

l called Budget Arbor 2 years ago to have some trees removed. I chose this buisness based on their reputation. First contact went very well, the sales person came right out as scheduled and quoted a fair price. Unfortunately I was unable to have the work done at that time. When I was ready to have the work done I contacted them again. I am not sure what exactly happened in between those 2 years but BIG change. I scheduled to have the job re-bid due to the time lapse. On the scheduled day no one showed up. This was my first warning which I should have heeded. I called to find out why the no show but I wasn't given an explanation. The sales person showed up the next day and provided me with a new quote. Although the price was a bit higher than the original quote I wasn't bothered due to the time in between bids. I accepted the bid and was told by the salesperson that I would be contacted in a few days to schedule a day of service. 2 weeks went by with no contact. This should have been my 2nd warning. I called to find out what was going on and was told by the receptionist that I was scheduled for April 15th between 11 and 11:30 am and that the job would be roughly 4 hours. This was on March 17. Fast forward to April 15, 12pm and no one has arrived yet. I called and again spoke to the receptionist. She told me that the crew was held up on another job and that they were having equipment failures and that they may have to reschedule. I told her that this would be very inconvenient because I had already notified all my neighbors about the work being done so they could move their cars from the street. The large tree I needed removed was in the front yard along the street. In addition a neighbor moved his mailbox so the crew could have clear access to this large tree and I removed a portion of my chain link fence per the salespersons request so they would have access to said tree. In addition I took a day off from work so that I could be present if any issues arsed. She told me that she would have the sales person contact me within 30 mins. She called back 10 mins later and told me the sales person was working an issue on the current job site and would not be able to contact me for at least 1 hour. 2 hours went by and I was still waiting for a call. I call yet again and this time I speak to the sales person who is very apologetic. He informs me that the owner made the decision to blow me off and asked if there was any way he could keep my business. I told him that if the owner would be willing to take a bit off the price I would be willing to give them 1 more shot. He said he would talk to the owner and get back to me the next day. I called again the next day and spoke to the salesperson to see if we would be doing business together. He told me that the owner did not feel that he needed to rectify this situation and if I wanted to reschedule then he MIGHT be able to come and cut my trees the following Friday. I said thanks but no thanks, I would contact someone who was more professional and would be willing to accept my puny $1400 job. What it comes down to is this, I was given a bid to be used as filler work until higher paying jobs became available, When the owner acquired those jobs he decided my job was unworthy of his time and tossed it into the trash, oh well. By his actions the owner believes that the customer should bend over backwards for HIM and then he will solely decide who is privileged enough to be one of his customers and who isn't. The owner should go back and re study the basics of how to run a successful business. Rule 1. HAPPY customers are REPEAT customers. I realize I am not the only customer in town, however Budget Arbor is not the only tree removal service in town either. I challenge the owner to respond because NOTHING he can say will justify his unprofessional business practices. Be wary if you contract with this business. Only HIS time is important to him.
Description of Work: The business was hired to remove roughly 13 small trees and 1 large tree.

Response from Budget Arbor And Logging LLC
No work was done for this customer. The day we were scheduled to the remove the trees we had equipment failure and told him we couldn't make it but would call him back later in the day to reschedule. He demanded that we do the work that day regardless of the fact our equipment was broken. It could not be done. He then demanded that we greatly reduce the price and do the work right away or he would post negative feedback online. We couldn't do the work in the short time he gave us due to the fact the equipment needed was being repaired. Our contract clearly states that "It may be necessary to reschedule work due to the unavailability of helpers or breakdown of equipment, another job taking longer than anticipated, weather or other conditions and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the arborist." We tried to reschedule the work when we could get our equipment back up and running. He was unsatisfied with the timing and told us to not bother.

A bid was give to this person on May 11, 2014 for $2,800.00 plus tax, to remove 6 trees large trees around the house with full clean up and stump grinding. The bid was mailed to her and she was called with estimate. No other bid was given and we have not heard from her since. She must be mistaken as to which company gave her a bid for $4,000.00. We still retain an original copy of this bid if she would like to contact us about it.

They did an extremely good job of taking it down. They didn't hurt any of the plants around it. They ground the stump. Everybody was very happy with it. They did a good job. They cleaned up their mess. They didn't hurt anything. It was wonderful. They were lowest bidder in price.

They never showed up to do the work despite our spending almost a month trying to get them to.
Description of Work: We called Budget Arbor for an estimate to have a tree and several stumps removed. They came promptly to provide the estimate and said they could come back to do the work later in the week. When we called to schedule the work they said they wouldn't be able to come for two weeks, but we scheduled it anyway. My wife stayed home from work on the day they were scheduled to come, but they did not show up. Apparently while performing another job someone on the street saw them and asked if they could do some work for them while they were there. They decided to do this spontaneous job rather than the one they had scheduled with us two weeks earlier. We rescheduled for the next day, but they called and canceled because they had an emergency tree removal call. We rescheduled for the next week, but they did not show up or call us to cancel. When we got in touch with them the next day they said they would not be able to come for at least another week, at which point we decided to find someone else.

While I do not have direct knowledge of this individuals encounter, there are times when rescheduling is unavoidable. Tree service work is done as weather permits. Weather plays a big part in our business and can create circumstances out of our control. Our crew can fall behind or have to reschedule for many reasons. Rain, wind and storms can reek havoc on our schedule. Some trees can be too dangerous to climb and remove in high winds. Rain can make the soil too wet to felled a tree without damaging the lawn or can make the worksite too hazardous. Our top priorities are safety for our crew and safety for our client's property. While rescheduling is sometimes needed, we try our best to keep our clients informed.
